Clues

List 'em as you get 'em. If one is done, confirm it or reject it.
We'll average them out. This is very much a work in progress.

hahaha, actually, I've never gone there. Never quite got why people are so interested in cookies at the fair. It's not like they're unavailable the rest of the year...

Clue 12

As we study the clues we accept or confute,
With family and friends we discuss and dispute.
One word express a point in between,
Naming the site where the treasure is seen.

That would be Midway and it seems right from my recollections...but I was in high school at the time and it was my Mom doing the hunting at night.

I have all the newspaper articles since 1952 and some of them include maps. I'll check out he maps vs. your maps or maybe even get out to get a coordinate or two when I get a chance. It looks great so far, keep up the good work!

I had all of my newspaper clippings out the last few days trying to answer a few questions for Trent. I'll check back in real soon!

Whoohoo! Any info and/or maps would be great.

BTW I can setup an overall map when we're done using Mappoint, in a linkable HTML file even I believe.

Should be easier in a month to get coordinates too, tree cover will be down.

Considering the tree cover is down now, I'm going to try and get out to get a few more locations plotted. Would love to have a completed set (if not 100% accurate) by the hunt this year.

Anyone interested in meeting up at one of the more frequented parks (harriet, cherokee, etc..), discuss old clues, help locate areas, etc. let me know.

I was gonna move this back out, but I didn't wanna screw it up.

J T, if you see this, can you put it back in the geocaching main folder?

Going to go hit Conway and Beaver Lake on my way home tonight. I figure if I do a few after work everyday (shoot I can't night cache, but I think I can manage medallion locations) I might just make a dent in the list.

Okay I'm not done with Beaver Lake, will haveta do that one in the daylight. If you saw my explanation in the invitational you'll know why. Basically a deer was staring me down and I decided I didn't want to impose since I live nearby I can get it anytime.

Thanks Diggin :)

You know I've had fun retracing old medallion locations. Kinda like tonight down at Beaver Lake, ya just get a feel for what it must have been back when the hunt was going on.

Nah, more the other way around, and I decided I didn't want to scare off the poor deer. I'm kinda surprised there was one in that park. It was too dark to count, but I knew I saw some antlers on it, was a pretty large buck.

They're pretty much all the way along McKnight from Battlecreek to Beaver lake. Sometimes they do run down in the city streets.

Okay here's one more. I had done it during the State Fair, but I confirmed it with Mr. Med's book (hopefully it's right)
