The Re-Hash Bash is always open to all Diggers, Hunters, Clue-Writers and Lurkers. Discuss the Medallion Hunt, and have a good time with those of like obsession. It's a great time! The Re-Hash Bash is a family affair. Spouses and kids (even toddlers) are more than welcome! Come early, stay late and eat, then eat some more. It's a potluck deal. It really is a fun time. It helps bring closure to the hunt for the year.

The CoolerHeads are a group of people who participate in the
Pioneer Press Medallion Hunt during Winter Carnival .
The Bash began in 1998 at Cherokee Park. It is always on the Sunday after the Medallion is found, and is held at the location where it was found. The link above is where all the clues were analyzed (over-analyzed !), accepted, rejected, discussed.
What you need to bring.....
- Bring a dish to share: dessert, salad, hot dish, whatever you like.
- Bring your own drinks.
- Bring your own plates, cups and utensils.
- There will be a fire. logs are needed !
- Check the forecast, but come prepared for "changing" weather.
- There have been gas stoves and charcoal grills in the past.

When ever I go to Subway or Duffs I walk by it... and it looks like the RL has some good specials.. just haven't gone in there to try it yet.

It's quite a few blocks up WN. It would be driveable. I used to live at Wild Tymes since I worked right across the street.
Driveable.... i dont even know the word.. i havent had a car, in like a year and a half, therefore EVERYPLACE is either walkabble, or bus-able for me...
They also have Kareoke on alotta nights.... ive been known to bust out some tunes, after ive had a lil bit to drink... so yeah.. maybe thats nota good place, after all... Â

Is there a limit to how many people one can bring along to the Pre-Dig? It looks like three daughters and a son-in-law want to come along. But they really are just an extension of me anyway. They're my legs during the hunt. Or else they just want to check you people out? lol
A nap! Oh, that sounds so wonderful! Not in the cards though. We'll have to leave here in a few to get the girls and bring them here for the night.

Got to meet Becksie, Cocorosie, hang out with mucluck for awhile, chat with Green, met Wanda, met Mrs mrmnmikey, hugged me2 (ooh la la), traded buttons with Scribe, had a couple seriouschats with Scribe, hugged Scribe (twice) !
Had a nice chat with Jake (count me in), saw Marley and Artemis !, had a couple (?) beers, bought two cool books, chatted with Trent, saw a VERY tired Jackie, talked to Steve a couple times, made some tentative plans with Nick and Cocorosie (she's IN, and seems to GET it !), and picked Long Lake Park in the pool.
Can't remember the clue, so I'll have to look for it later.
GREAT to see everyone again. See ya in the park.
Nice meeting everybody (well those of whom I met anyways) quite a large turnout, and I tend to get lost easily in crowds.

You people just plain rock!! I have just too many thank-yous to pass out from this evening's party. Everyone was way cool. I think I was able to talk with just about everyone, but if we missed paths, I'm sure I'll bump into you in line. Pull me aside and there will be a bump of Peppermint Schnapps in it for you since ares made me start drinking again. (jk)  Another great gig!! Bigger every year.
