So, remember the guy that called Scribe a piker? Well, I got an email from him today. Scribe beat me on an auction of 6 carnival buttons. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6146610154 I have no clue why he sent me an email, but this is what he said:

We had an '86 that we sold to a friend up north for $250 and it's still running today after 200k miles.  The body is shot and the passenger door doesn't open but it turned out to be a decent car for something I considered disposable.

did you know that if you "block" your home phone and call an 800- number...they still have your call in number....

the logic behind that is that since they are paying for the call they have the right to know who's calling them.

Back in the pre-season (Heh) I went through my carnival stuff, and packed it in a sturdy Rubbermaid container. A couple paper items were too big/fragile, so I did something (wtf?) with them. One was a certificate from King Boreas, and I'm positive it was the same year as my new pin. You think I can find it? NO

BUT, searching through a book I bought a couple years ago, I found two of the 1941 stamps, and two small info sheets from 1917 ! Never knew they were in the book.

Yeah, I've been pulling all my stuff together for tomorrow evening. Got a few buttons to trade, got my list all done, etc.

Hey Mom hope ya find some of the coolercrew buttons, I'm definately interested in getting a set going.

I was just on the phone with katygal, who is selling a bunch of winter carnival stuff right now. She told me she is putting a pin on ebay later tonight that she has never seen before and that none of the winter carnival collectors she knows has ever seen before. Just letting you know to watch for it.
