OTS and I went through the boxes this morning and OH MY!!!! I can not thank all of you enough. The boxes that are going to be shipped are amazing. Thank you to the muscle men who carried that load to our room!!  Clue Master....send me that picture when you get a chance! Again Thank you again!!
He doesn't know we are dragging him all around town. So we can keep that part secret.
If he gets to see the pics of his family... that would probably make him feel good.. knowing he's in our thoughts right now... he can be kinda real time with us as things happen....
So .. whats the opinion... how long do we need to keep it a secret that his family came?
If we start sharing this stuff now maybe it will give him a nice boost being that the hunt is under way... and he is so far away....
We could post all the stuff we have up to now.... the cut out stuff we will wait till the end of the carnival to post. Even if he sees the cut out at the PDG... he has no idea that he's goiong all the places he's going :)
OTS - I've been noodling that since you asked earlier. I think it would be fun for him to be part of all this now - with the boxes of stuff to be the surprise when he gets 'em.Â
So, in my opinion, let him see the pictures of his being at the PDG last night and wherever else he ends up as the events occur. He'll feel more a part of the goings on here then and that should certainly be a boost in morale.
Later, when the boxes of gathered goodies reach him, he'll have that surprise.
I don't mean to sound like your momma here, Search, but did you bring those boxes in the house so that stuff won't freeze? Sorry, but being a momma is what I do best. ;)
I'll be adding all the other regular pics that get posted in here to coolertimes tonight after 6 when I get back home.
So if everyone is ok with with the Zeph thing like you and I are then I will do just that. We'll let him see all the goings on and give him a little rush :)
My thoughts on posting pics... He knows you guys are up to something, so maybe pics of his cut-out but not the stuff you are sending him will keep him satisfied for awhile. Although he did write OTS about the "pics, minus Zeph stuff ???". He is smart and picks up on the little clues like that (after all, he is a medallion hunter), so maybe it is to late to say that his cut-out is all you are doing.
A thought just popped into my head...he is catching on that you are up to something (apparently he has seen "pics minus Zeph stuff", etc.) and he cannot be here for the hunt, so maybe it would be fun if you give him daily clues of what you are up to. You know, start out with you wanted to do something for him and the others and then start giving vague descriptions of what you are sending him, etc. You could either work them into pre-planned discussions you have on other boards that he stumbles into or just flat out post them as clues for him.
Just an idea. It is you guy's project, so whatever you decide I will go along with and "I know nothing, nothing" (said in my best sgt. Shultz impersonation).
Thanks for all the pictures, I have been saving them for a scrapbook for Zephyrus. I am also working on saving this whole thread for the scrapbook so he knows just how much work you all went to. Keep the pics coming on this thread and then you all can decide what you wish to share with Zeph from here. Anyone have a pic of his mom with the treasure chest?
