The Re-Hash Bash is always open to all Diggers, Hunters, Clue-Writers and Lurkers. Discuss the Medallion Hunt, and have a good time with those of like obsession. It's a great time! The Re-Hash Bash is a family affair. Spouses and kids (even toddlers) are more than welcome! Come early, stay late and eat, then eat some more. It's a potluck deal. It really is a fun time. It helps bring closure to the hunt for the year.

The CoolerHeads are a group of people who participate in the
Pioneer Press Medallion Hunt during Winter Carnival .
The Bash began in 1998 at Cherokee Park. It is always on the Sunday after the Medallion is found, and is held at the location where it was found. The link above is where all the clues were analyzed (over-analyzed !), accepted, rejected, discussed.
What you need to bring.....
- Bring a dish to share: dessert, salad, hot dish, whatever you like.
- Bring your own drinks.
- Bring your own plates, cups and utensils.
- There will be a fire. logs are needed !
- Check the forecast, but come prepared for "changing" weather.
- There have been gas stoves and charcoal grills in the past.

Last night was just awesome. Hey did anyone see the group of 4 ppl that came in all bundled up with those flashy head light thingys?? They were in and out so fast before anyone could see who they were. All in all last night was really awesome :) Now I know why I joined the crew in the first place, you guys are really the nicest, warmest, welcoming people. It really does amaze me, and I just wanted to say that!! I'm a cooler head for life, lol there's no doubt about that. And.. it's official... my hubby wants to be part of the crew.. we just have to find him a snazzy screen name... so anyone w/ideas.. lol anywho, thanks again guys, for everything!

Sorry I didn't get to say hi to more of you last night. I don't do too well in crowds, and it didn't take too long until it was elbow to elbow getting around......kinda just settled in one spot and talked to who I could.

My wife(SnowJester) and I had a lot of fun last night. We wish that we could have stayed longer. We got to talk to a few of you THX, Rock401 and Tim the Hunter. I hope to see a lot more of you out in the parks and at the Re-hash.Â

They kind of scared me. With the masks over the faces I was afraid there was going to be some kind of massacre. You know how crazy hunters can be. But I'm just kind of paranoid that way.
I want to say that I met the two in the middle last year, and possibly the guy on the right.... too hard to tell...
They look like some people that I met while waiting for the paper (who told me that they were fans of mine, believe it or not...), but I think that they may be the group of people who were always behind Regman and I while in line with those lights on their heads....
Are these the same people Regman??? (help?)
Anyway, they came 2 hours early everynight and were always immediately behind us....

They are the same group that are always in line at the press, they have the annoying flashing headlamps on allthe time. I did not find them very social at all!!
I had a great time! Met so many people, KOP, Becksie, OT, KT and many more I currently forget. Please forgive me if I forget your name next time we meet, It's not my best skill remembering names. Look forward to seeing you all in line and at the parks.Â

Sorry that I had to disappear for a while last night. I ended up with two events on the same night and I needed to go to the other one for at least a little while. It was still fun though. It's always hard to try and meet everyone though.
