Yeah, tim, like I said, I was searching. As far as point douglas, I was saying in the rest of the clue. From the whole clue you can anagram all 3 of those streets. But I am sure you can anagram streets around 10 other parks in the clue.
something must be glaringly obvious in this clue, last year, they used "clever device" to refer to the anagram "it's phalen park" so I am just thinking "figures" must refer to something.
Me2, The Lobster is out. They are expensive and treated us horribly. I could tell you story after story. Camo Crew doesn't hang there that much. You can always stop in and say hi on your way to Great Waters.
Sorry I Had to take off there. I had to go take a test for this job assignment. It's a customer service job so I thought it would be a customer service or typing test. But instead it was an intelligence test. Now I'm getting curious as to what this job is really about.

Could the "what is that you hear" be Fort snelling and gunshots/bells there?
You know, now that you mention it, that may make more sense than just about anything. It was definitely here before we "moved" in and they do fire off cannons and stuff over there.
I think I'm going to go ahead and make my call for Hidden Falls as the park. Now the question is where in the park? Hmmmm
I was going to go check out a few river parks, but I had to come back home to email and exam to another teacher. I still have about 40 papers to grade, so I better get to it soon, though I'd rather be outside right now. But I figure better to get the work done now then have to do it over the weekend!
To add to other's Battle Creek noodles - It has a newish water park on the upper half. Could this be the "quite frozen water"? Lots of parking near it as well. I would guess that we can't get near the actual water park this time of year so we are away from the "water's edge" too.
Kitch & Ian - last year and the year before! Lurked more than posted last year but since moving to St. Paul proper (across the street from Phalen - a year late!!) I'm excited for the hunt more than years past!
now i'm getting itchy to go out. i work at Crosby Business Center. I could be sitting on the medallion as we speak! if it was up my butt I'd think I'd know tho.
From the letters in the first line you can spell "Fort Snelling", "Hidden Falls", "Itasca" (street name by HF), "Elsie" (street name HF). This would helpful if it "figures in your hunting pursuit".
My guess is that "pursuit" was supposed to rhyme with "loot". I think they either misprinted the clue, or more likely at the last minute they decided to splice half of one clue with half of another clue. They might be trying to give us more information because perhaps they think with the snowfall we got, finding the medallion where they hid it will be worse than finding a needle in a haystack.
Someone suggested the last half of the clue could be Ft. Snelling. Right now I'm thinking that sounds better than anything else I've heard so I'm going to go with Hidden Falls. I think the clues are pointing there pretty well.

Â
Note from John (hubby): He thinks the last line should read "it was there before we moved it" because that would match better with pursuit.
well, there is "Pledge" furniture polish--any furniture stores near Crosby
ohhh yeah....
What sign??
at the top of crosby near the stoplights...there's a "wordy" sign that is silver....

There is a big post office branch right in front of Crosby "Elway" station. Big flag "pledge"? also "Youngman" road, Agnes, Wordsworth (poet)

I'll be back later.
Big G, you crack me up!
I can just hear the masses moving toward HF now....
"Homer" avenue over near Crosby/HF: Homer Simpson "Old curmudgeon"?
Figures - what about figure skating?
Â
Anything special in the WC having to do with that?
But the Med. has never been put in Crosby park, I wonder why not? Must be some reason that would not have them put it in that park this year.
Tasia was in the movie? That is way too funny!! Yep. She's black and white. Wolf/shepard/husky. Going to see it this weekend.
JOE!
Joe's talking about caves on Garage Logic right now. ;)
Wow.. the site has had over 400 more hits today and it's only 3pm.

Allison, ittiz Bat Creak.
Want to go back and see how many are mine?? Just kidding, but it's a scary thought.
I just turned a co-worker on to this place. Hope we both don't lose our jobs prematurely...
