How the heck are they going to narrow down the area of the park with so few landmarks once you get into the woods.  "Look for the clump of trees".

I'm afraid we'll need plenty of narrowing down

How many trails are there heading into the trees at Crosby? There is the one near the shelter.  Are there others?

Juster--

if it's so obvious where it is then why haven't you found it?

ohh, I get it: crosby nash and young song= Crosby park! This is way too obvious. Not past writer's style.

lol wolf!

Crosby definatly has everything we're looking for in the clues~ now we just need to find that
ONE
little thing that really matters.

well, they talk about old age twice: it was there before we moved in and young woman or man, while you still can.

My personal opinion on Crosby is that they will not send us too far into the woods.  I think you can take the section of the park east of upper lake and mark it off your search area.

Plus "old curmudgeon", more old age again

Maybe tomorrow nights clue will have lyrics from Old Man.  Just to make sure we know where it is and to keep the old, young theme going.

Richard Dudgeon created the Dudgeon Steam Wagon , a steam powered vehicle built in 1866 - old again but I wouldn't know either way if he was a curmudgeon! Any steam wagons around?

but ya know,,, seems like there are so many words that we find as refernce to Crosby and they cant all mean that or they would be repeating themselves!!!  There has to be something were missing.

Could this have something to do w/ a flagpole, the pledge of allegiance, but you have pledges for scouts and such too, right?

I am not sure why Crosby has a bad rep. It is a lovely park with lots of hiking and biking trails. There are lakes and the river. Yes, there is occassional homosexual activity, but the cops break it up and it is not happening in the woods. I am not the least bit afraid there.

Outta, it is not the Eagles, it is Stills after he left Crosby, Stills, and Nash

Night all.

well.. here's one reason why it has a bad rep, a search on crosby park nature area in yahoo brought this link up. Be careful out there people

Anyone had much luck figuring out the station numbers at the nature area? There's a map of them, but nothing regarding their meanings.

WARNING----THE FOLLOWING POST MAY THROW A KINK INTO YOUR CLUE NOODLING, READ WITH CAUTION

The song "Love the one you're with" is a Stephen Stills song on his self titled album, not a CSNY song. It was later put onto a CSNY live album "Four Way Street" but that album focused on individual work.

What does this mean? Either the cluewriter doesn't pay all that much attention to the specifics of CSNY music, doesn't care OR he picked a song that was thought of as a CSNY song but really Crosby was left out of. Just adding fuel to the "not at crosby" fire.

The following noodle was noodled by pops, I take no credit/responsibility for it.

I'll see you all at Crosby tomorrow!

yeah, just another thing showing ya the reasons it's got a bad rep. It is a shame though, that park does have some potential, if it'd get cleaned up and whatnot. Perhaps the media coverage will help it out, who knows.

Didja look at that site? It hasn't been updated since 2000. People have sex. Does it matter if they are homosexual or heterosexual? If there was a website advertising a good place for heterosexual sex would you feel safer? Get over it. Use normal safety precautions (like you use in all other parks) and all will be fine.
