I'm thinking it could be in a glove too... or perhaps a Dove soap box... or a Dove ice cream bar wrapper... the branch and lichen reference made me think that it could perhaps be stuck between some tree bark with lichen on it. I did see numerous trees with lichen on them in Crosby last night.
