Discuss the 2005 Pioneer Press Treasure Hunt here.
Randahl
i A West St. Paul family – Judy Melville, her son Ryan Melville and her son-in-law Hayward Estepp – followed the tenth clue published in the Pioneer Press to find the medallion under the bark of a large fallen tree branch.
So now that the hunt is over, let me remind everyone to stay tuned for information on the Rehash Bash and The Mock Hunt (which I believe I will be starting on March 6th).
Well any way..... I just got home to find this out. I have to say it was better that coming home and finding out my dear, sweet son spent the day trashing the forums.
So who's going down to the pp for tonight's clue? Can't we pretend we can still look for it?
Randy says he'll still call us with the clue. I think it was the branch east of the wooded area, south of the grove of trees, north of the woods shown in the THG
The where did Art go to school question is almost as puzzling as where was the treasure found! lol I know she went to SSP for a while at least. Played softball or volleyball or something with one of my daughters.
Currently my plan is to start my Mock Hunt on Sunday, March 6th (I'm just too busy to do it any earlier). I'm in favor of moving the Rehash back a week as both this Saturday and Sunday are going to make it tough to squeeze in and I hate rushing it when there are so many people to meet and so many stories to tell.
ART VANDELAY grew up in W. St. Paul, went to Henry Sibley High, and graduated in 1997. He is a married (to me!) latin male that currently resides in St. Paul's Como Park neighborhood. He is a cat person.

I told you stick piles were a good idea!
I wonder if it was the tree i was messing with this morning??
If that was the tree branch next to the fallen tree with moss near the two stumps and the tree that fell over the path I will never hunt again....

...until next year.
this lion will sleep tonight - REHASH??? decide and post please!

I wonder if it was the tree the whole crew was diggin around last night after the clue?
want me to call you with the clue tonight?
For the record... I'm taking two weeks off next year. Licing out of the truck. We're getting that damn thing next year.
is the news conference aired anywhere? How are they going to be able to tell us which branch?
That tree branch in the woods? I think that was the one, lil.

The website now lists Crosby, not Phalen, as the medallion park.
We all get to sleep tonight, which is good. Just not on the beach in Mexico, which isn't so good.
Oh, well. There's always next year...

Outta's Daughter
I told my husband laundry and errands could wait! f-word!
I misspoke myself. I meant Ryan. Art went to school with my daughters' at SSP. Must have moved before she graduated then.
Thanks for all your help on the phone the other night!
Art went to Sibley? so did I. Class o' 95 though.
See you at GW at 7pm. Everyone welcome.
