Just want to send you a private thanks and attaboy for your great CoolerTimes site. It's Super Cooler. I got to meet some of the Cooler Crew at Rehash Bash at Como in '03 but have been dealing with MS relapse issues since summer of '04 so have only been able to Medallion hunt by computer.
Thought I might get to Crosby and hobble around with my walking staff or cane but it sounds as if parking is tricky and walking down all the way from Shepard would be too much. Maybe on a weekday next week . . . if the puck evades the efforts of the Crew.
Regardless, I live vicariously thru all the great info on CoolerTimes, Cooler Crew site, and the bulletin boards. This year's fun with Zeph from Iraq has brought me a lot of laughs and a few tears. Viet Nam was my war. My heart is always with the people doing their duty, putting themselves in dangerous places.
I am really impressed by all the things you guys have been doing for Jason, and I think this pretty much sums up how I feel about the Cooler Crew and the whole Zephy thing ~

Yeah, excuse me sir....can you do it at 5:13, THX can get here right then and if you are done by 5:17 that is enough time for Pay_me to get the kids to grandmas. This is enough time for Scribe to watch while eating a donut between class but she may need to leave at 5:15 so she can dig up como before heading back to class!!!
Calling all coolers.... On Wednesday Zephy will be knighted by King Boreas on the steps of the State Capitol at 2:40. Everybody is welcome... the more coolers the merrier!

I was thinking it would be really cool if we could somehow get a list of our names stuffed in his pocket. Or somehow get our NAMETAGS on his jacket (maybe inside)......
Could be a little piece of history that would be cooler......I'm afraid a name or two would be left out...... maybe a bad idea???? IDEAS????
The Cooler Crew has been asked to donate Zephy to the Winter Carnival Museum. We were thinking of ways to leave our mark and this is the plan,
At the rehash I will have 3x5 cards for everyone to sign. Sign your name, leave a message, draw a picture......whatever. But it must fit on the one card (we have to be able to stuff these cards in his pocket). If you want to write your card and bring it with you feel free. If you are unable to attend please email me at pay_me@comcast.netand I will make sure that your card is in his pocket. When you go to build-a-bear workshop they place a heart inside to give it love from the owner. These cards will be our heart of Zephy!! Please do not tell him about this just yet. We are thinking we will tell him about the notes when he returns from Iraq. Please let me know if you have any questions!!!

he's being knighted by the senior royalty at 130 at st marks school at prior and marshall.
