Ruth's been at lots of different stations since she got fired from WCCO for low ratings. She was quite the personality at 'CCO. She was there for 17 years and had a good following.Â

Joe
no, Joe is on 1500
I have been getting email from people wondering about the movie and if it's worth going. I have been telling everyone that I really liked it and that they should take the time to check it out. I have put a Bulletin Board on my website at http://www.wintercarnival.8m.com/ to let others review and give their comments about the movie. Please stop by and let others have your own personal review of the movie.
Cool!
Me2 what are you holding in your avatar pic?

My co-worker's gonna hit NTFCF tonite...
This is neat, maybe I will see if I can attend.
Will anyone here be going to see this movie?
most have!! and a few are going again!
A lot of people are going Saturday to see the changes/just to see it again.
Myself/THX/Scribbles/Leelabell/Big G etc...
Most of us have seen it already.
It's worth watching. Jake got a best actress nomination for his role.
Jake is a woman?
Oh, wait, I think I read that wrong, sorry.
We don't like to talk about it.
Forget I said anything.
:(
I have to work sat morning and NT's boy is getting confirmed at the cathedral with a party after so I cant make the movie, we should be finished in time for the parade though.
I'm going on Saturday and bringing some friends with. Not sure yet how many are coming.
I have to work saturday and sunday : (
Is Green nominated for best animated feature?
I hope there are still a lot coming to the movie-
I talked with the family a bit ago and they are excited.
Tell NT's boy congrats on the confirmation!
I will, thanx :)
definatley CongratulationsLL, NT and son!
Thanx me2 :)
This one ROCKS !
I just got back from seeing the movie again- IT WAS FUNNIER THAN THE FIRST TIME! I had tears as if I was on a roller coaster ;)
I couldnt really point out the changes except for the extra bloopers at the end (Jake and his snotty nose-hahaha) AND there was something else they added as a complete extra scene but after this one drink I just had, I can't remember what it was!!
and did anyone guess the ONE swear word that was bleeped out?
that was another thing that was changed throughout the film -I think-I dont recall hearing as many FRIGGIN and FICKENs :( -its the Minnesota slang way!
Â
Did the finders show for the movie? How did they like it?Â
yes, they were there- they loved it! they thank everyone!! they will be at Re-hash tomorrow.
Â
thank you to those who did give twords the movie today -
say "I" if you gave me money today? RedBear and New Daddy and Kitch= $18!
I had a terrible headache and needed an aspirin so please tell me if I missed someone!!!!

I saw the movie today. It was excellent! I haven't laughed that much in a very long time!Â
and did anyone guess the ONE swear word that was bleeped out?
It was Marley King, the word was hell. He was talking about Steve getting on the message boards saying "lurkers get the hell out", and commenting on how Steve is a lurker too because he doesn't share his best ideas.
"I!"
Took papa bear and he laughed and laughed - kept going "Wow, I was in that line while you were in the park."
Actually there were 3 times that we "bleeped" out someone's swear word, but the other two times are not as obvious as the Marley one.Â
There are also a few occasions where we were able to cut away to another image while the person was talking so we could cut out cursing but those don't really count at "bleeps." And of course there were some things we just rejected because of the cursing to begin with!Â
Not that I have anything against cursing... Trnet and I personally have been known to swear like pirates... but we did want this to be something families could go to.Â
Its a good thing you didn't film while I was diggin then.....
of course it woulda been funny....
one big bleep....
My beautiful date, whose only connection with the treasure hunt has been following the clues loosely this year, loved the movie. She thought it was great and looks forward to next years hunt.
my niece saw it yesterday and was bumbed that it was over for this year-she wants to hunt terribly now! she's 13.
My mom and my sisters kids went today and said that they loved Green and Santa Dave the most.  They said that they left wanting more. She was also glad to meet the 'book guys'. Hi Steve and Jesse. Thanks for the Schnapps Guy label. My mom found it funny.
Damn straight he does!
Santa Rox.
Trent and Jackie - great movie. I thought you did a great job being true to the hunt. You captured the great mix of old charatures who have hunted for decades, and the new noodlers. My wife and parents(nonhunters) thought it was very funny. My wife thought it was as good as Spellbound(which is her favorite movie) I laughed many times during the movie and cried(which I rarely do) when Cathy found the med. You captured that scene very well. Thanks for all your hard work and good luck(I think your film will do very well)
What a great mixture of fact and entertainment!
They loved it, and they're non-hunters.
and cried(which I rarely do) when Cathy found the med.
You mean it wasn't just me?? She was just SOooooo excited. You couldn't have ever possibly filmed that moment with an "actor".
I saw the movie on Saturday. It was inspiring. I recognized many people. I laughed and practically cried. That Allison in Wonderland character was funny thinking people should listen to him. AND that man that said he should listen to women, hahaha.
good stuff

for all of you coming through.
I want to give recognition to every name but I don't want to miss anyone :( --- JUST KNOW YOU ALL ROCK and I am blessed to know you!!!!! -
ok, THX gave extra, so $20 is being moved to AW's hunt as a part of the prize! THANK YOU! ... Wheres the AW 2006 thread?
Â
That Allison in Wonderland character was funny thinking people should listen to him.
That line didn't come out right. What I was trying to say is I posted my ideas that year as did everyone else. It turned out my ideas that year were right. So what I really meant to say was that it was to his credit that he picked out the right theory to listen to. Not that he was wise to listen to me just because it was me saying it.
Wheres the AW 2006 thread?
Maybe we should wait and start with the 2005 thread.
