Dunkin Donuts will ship a case of coffee (that's 24 one-pound bags!) to anybody
serving in Iraq. All you need to do is email the company or write the company
with the name and APO address of the person you want to have them ship it to.
Dunkin Donuts donates the coffee and pays all the shipping costs.
Online:
Go to www.dunkindonuts.com
Click on "About Us"
Click on "Contact us"
Click on "Instore visits"
Fill out the form and in the "COMMENTS" section put the soldier's
name and APO address.
Also state you would like them to send your soldier coffee.
Click on "Submit"
You can also go to www.dunkinbrands.com and fill the form out the
same way as the first site.
Mail:
Dunkin Brands
130 Royall Street
Camton, MA 02021
Attn: Customer Care
Request that they send your soldier coffee. Include Name and APO address.
Mail your request.
By phone:
781-737-3000 ask for Customer Relations. They are getting a lot of requests & it
may take a little while for it to get processed.
Don't know anyone personally that is serving our country abroad & would still
like to participate:

That's his address - I just popped on and read like the last 4 posts.

Work is crazy today - but I wanted to give that to ya'll if someone wants to do it.  Dunkin Donuts is owned actually by my company's competitor... go figure.  I think it's awesome that they want to do that.

package(s) and they are still being sent.

To answer truthfully, he figured it out long long ago. Some of us slipped on saying things and the pictures of the PDG pretty much told the story. Not that it's a bad thing at all either way. He has asked and I play stupid. He knows I'm playing stupid so it's kind of a game :)

I honestly don't know what you guys are talking about....

I don't recall giving him a watch....

what does this mean?

when will everything be sent?
Its been 2 weeks since the Pre-Dig

Do you need help packaging? I have boxes.
Books can be packed together and sent bulk book rate - or are you doing that?

It takes so long for him to recieve the stuff so I am curious to when its being shipped.

We are sending the packages every couple days to make sure they are not in the same shipment.  They should be done being shipped by the end of next week.  We are sending all books at the book rate.  Anything that was perishable has already been sent!

We want to make sure that if something were to happen to the mail truck that not all packages are lost.  This way by sending them scattered he has a better chance at recieving as many packages as possible.

hmmm k-sooo how many packages were/are sent out?
thats a lot of going to the post office wow

hey I thought someone was gonna post a list of things donated

-many of us didnt get to see all the cool stuff!
It doesnt matter who gave what, I just wanna know the WHAT!

Things happen with the military mail system. It's just safer to ship them seperate. Cargo trucks are constantly having issues in Iraq.

Now that the hunt is over and we can get back to our normal lives we will have time to get the list posted for everyone. We did have alot going on over the last two weeks between the hunt, kids and work so I hope you all can forgive us for prioritizing.

Pay Me will try to get the list posted sometime tonight or in the morning.

As to the question of shipping, shipping costs and such, Pay me and I were happy to volunteer handling the shipping and even picking up the cost that was not covered by donations. She said this in post 15of this thread. At last best guess on the high end was 500 dollars So you can rest assured that we have researched and made use of the book rate and other cost cutting measurements at our disposal.

People have been curious about the money amounts donated so here you go.

Total money donated was about 150 dollars:

70 dollars all Cooler Heads at the PDG
20 Cooler Head last week
40 Family member
20 Cooler Head at RHB

We have been doing and will be doing the best for Zeph in trying to make sure he gets as much of what the Cooler Crewcollected for him and his fellow soldiers. It doesn't make any difference to us how many trips we make to the post office if it will insure the packages find their way to him. Mail trucks get attacked like any other cargo truck there. Military mail also has the ability to get lost more often then not. When I was deployed I told my family the same thing.Ship boxes seperate.

3M made sure we were set with plenty of boxes shipping supplies. So everything is pretty much covered in that department.

I hope that this covers all the questions. We have it handled and look forward to hearing how good it makes those troops feel over there just as much as anyone else.

That is the high end guess.  Some of the stuff is pretty heavy.  The nut goodies alone,.....oh my gosh!!!  But this is what we were willing to donate.  I would spend $1000 if I had to.  It is our pleasure.  OTS and I had some very good support when we were overseas.  hundreds upon hundreds of dollars worth of goodies.  This is something we have wanted to do!!!!!!  Thank you everyone who donated postage this is a great help.  But please understand this is not a burden by any means.  This is something we wanted to do to show our support!!!!
