well those are just off the top of my head. so i could do more or better. :)

How do we work that out?

We take a deep breath and think things through.

Flashy is cool with me.....Cool hats and shirts and stuff are cool with me too.

Like I said...... we all just came off this high from the hunt and ideas are pouring out like crazy.

Some good, some bad, some crazy. But at least we are talking and thinking it all out.

Yup.  We've always been for the 'little guy.'  The rag-tag masses...  That's what makes us so appealing to people.  We're just us, common folk, like they are.

I'll never forget our first time in the TL parade...  You could hear people - just ordinary John/Jane Does, or their kids - cry, "Look!  It's The Cooler Crew!"  They loved us.

And us being 'just us' is what brought every one o'us here.  I agree with THX.  There are dress-up groups that are already part of the Winter Carnival.  If we evolve into something the Cooler Crew has been against since day one, we've lost our special essence.  We have never been or intended to become an extension of The Winter Carnival.  We - The Cooler Crew - *are* the Hunt.  Our charm is that we are only about The Hunt.  We live it, breathe it, sleep it.  Our mission has always been to preserve The Hunt - its past and its future.

now I partially agree. I think the HUNT is a part of the Winter Carnival activities therefor we are a part of the Winter Carnival.

I like the C C with snowballs, but it needs in smaller letters "chicks" added to it, so I can stealborrow it.

I think it's kinda lame and silly, and it's not what the Cooler Crew was ever about.

 

I kinda thought medallionapers thing on the van was kinda lame.......Poor Donny Jr. didn't choose to be a naper and now he's gotta grow up in the 'napers....poor kid is a coolercrew wannabe and we don't need to tease him........I think the coolercrew needs to open up and be a little more friendly...

part of me wants to say that its because its easier to hide something with the snow, but we've proven time and again that isn't the case.

so i'll just say its because its more fun in the winter.

After slogging thru the umteen billion posts (ok I'm over doing it a bit.. but oh well), I'd like to add my 2 cents in.. so here goes. I think that dressing up and being silly isn't such a bad idea.. it would give people the idea that we are fun, open people, and not prudes. I'm not in ANY means saying that's what we are, just using that as an example. However, I think the dressing up thing can get taken a bit too far and I think what the others are trying to say is that we don't wanna end up like the Vulks and getting bad reps.
I can't say that I blame em because all it takes is one person to mess up.

As for the crew/winter carnival thing, I don't think that we're so much trying to be part of the carnival as we are trying to represent all of the faithful medallion hunters out there. I think that's an awesome thing because they see us, we see them, and we all become one. The crew is for the people, the hunters, the kids, the old time hunters, THAT is what it's all about. If we can be a voice of the people, I say so be it.

I joined the crew not only because I'm a puck hunter, but because I saw what a great, fun, group of people you all are. THAT is what brought me to the crew, and it would bring a lot of other people as well if they actually saw us. Look at what NTFCF did for the crew.. being out there.. being visible is what we need.. just NOT taking it overboard.
