Well last year the one called Target pond, on the North Side, was not any where near a parkland, they have really done some work this past year.  So my guess is that it was found in the other area last year.

I can't find anything on where it was found last year. I'm gonna take off now, will take me a while to get there,  The plan is to stop  at local stores and ask the clerks if they remeber where it was last year.  Backup plan is to call and wake Krissy up and ask her (pretty sure she doesn't know)

You can see target much easier from the new north side Environmental Learning Center.

Big question is, where was the medallion last year... Either center, they picked a good area, both will take time to search. I'll be out tonight around 9:30 again.

nahh.. it's gotta be the north side.. the clues fit that area much better than the south side.

I searched the northern side last night, except for the grove of trees behind the strip mall, pretty much that whole area would be a nice target to search. There are two signs at the southern corners of the parks, but I'm doubting it's there, one's next to a taco johns, I can't imagine they'd find a time to place it there. the other faces the main road as well, and 11th is fairly well traveled.

bummer diggin, you had some good info too! if it isn't found by this evening, just swing on by the environmental center for a lil bit. having a few people out there, and we're sure it's the right park, it's gotta get found now.

echos of crobsy come to mind... I'm wondering if you go with the idea that you should be able to see the target sign and the polar plaza sign from the location. I'll haveta do a visual when I'm there tonight.

I am still liking the idea that the "lucky" in the first clue is giving you the Irish name Flanders.  That is the street that dead ends into it on the west side.

Bummer I will not have time to get out again till Friday. 

I hope one of us finds it...we need to start a finding trend :)

I'll be out in the evenings. Tomorrow I can search from 6pm on. I see no posted hours for that park... perhaps I could be there later... honestly there's only so much area, let's find the thing and get it over with.

yeah what gives, if tomorrow's clue is good, some local could possibly get the medallion ;)

There's one option I didn't really try while out there. I'll check that out tonight.

I'm really guessin this snowman isn't on the ground, per clue 2, which pretty much leaves us with trees, signs, and benches.

Could this snowman be stuck in a back stop or something like that?  Reference to "this game". 

Nope, there's not much of anything in the area they say to look at from clue 3. a large pond, trees, a couple benches, wetland areas, 3 signs.. and that's about it.

Ok... so... lets talk about next weeks hunt lol

Don't give up hope yet!  Frozen Buttox hasn't checked in yet.

So maybe my "hanging from a back stop or something" noodle wasn't that far "off-base".  :)

Well, least I know the parks for next year... got a good list goin. Next hunt for me will be the oakdale one. I'm prepping for that already.
