okay...so i just ate a whole chocolate bar and thursday is going much better than wednesday! last night was girlie night in ma casa. jenny jane and i met up at the malt shop for some ice creamy goodness and then met up with emily at my apt. we watched project runway - this shows rocks!- then we watched west wing. slight addiction to that one. meanwhile we were trying to teach each other how to knit and crochet. now that's when you know you are over the college years. i love it!

i sent him the new flogging molly cd and the first and second seasons of ren and stimpy! wwwhheeeeee! i think he will love it. i had a really hard time standing in line staring at the box i was sending over to iraq. it's so hard for me to wrap my mind around what he is going thru and at the same time i don't think i even can. i can't watch the news or listen to the news on the radio. i hear one bad thing and i start to have vivid daydreams and it's just bad. i cry, i'm a weiner. i just can't wait for him to be home and safe! everyone over there are such hero's. they are so brave and i hope they all realize how much we love and care about them no matter is being said in the news.

good luck learning to knit. if you need any help on a scarf let me know. i'm more than happy to show anyone. i've already taught 2 people to knit. my advice is get big needles (try size US13-US15) and BIG THICK WOOL YARN. there's a brand at michael's called "wool ease." And it's the perfect stuff to learn on. big yarn goes faster, and it's easier to see what you're doing. tim- i'll teach you anytime!

well i have to admit i've never liked vday besides the little things i get from my family etc. no one had ever made it special for me, which i know is very cliche. everyone hates vday...but, not me, not this year! doing nothing at all or painting the town i will be happy to be with nick! ya ya that's mushy but i don't care. i'm just happy!
we spent most of the weekend together as well. a bunch of time with my family and relatives and then with his family as well. i love them...they are so nice and accepting. they make me feel so right at home. such awesome people to be around. movies. bball games. movies. gettin free yummy meals from parents. rock.
i got to see my little nephew cutiepie too so i'm sure i'll have more pics up soon. i was starting to go thru withdrawal since i hadn't seen him for about a month!
also the snow sunday night was so beautiful i wish it would have stayed in the trees for a day or two it's so fairytale like.
turning the crotchety old age of 27 in 39 days.....3 more years til 30. yay.
I bought a knitting book at work, it's one of those Klutz books. It's for like 12 year olds but I don't care. I have the full intention of learning when time allows. So by how things are going right now, I think I'll be learning when I'm 60. hehe
Yay for the olympic hopefuls! I know they just had a show, but I'm bad about remembering dates and also having people to go with. Most of my friends are pretty lame-o straight laced, like G.B. Leighton and (god help me) Uncle Chunk. I can't stand Uncle Chunk. Blech.
Love is nice if you can find it. :) I wish I were luckier and didn't attract scary clowns and stalkers.

eek. i had such an awesome awesome valentines day. sunday night i just kinda played dumb like ah yeah well i'll talk to ya tomorrow...blah. and got in my car and left. hoping it wasn't obvious i had something up my sleeve. i was just so excited to have a valentines day with somebody not just anybody but somebody i'm a big dork over!!! i had got us reservations for dinner at a yummy chinese place with a gift certificate i had. it had to be an inexpensive night since we are both so broke. hehe.
anyways...work was very boring but i had a little voice mail from nick that said he had something for me. sooo cute. so i gots myself all perrtied up and went to his casa. he got me a single red rose and chocolates. i love it! never been given such gifts on vday i felt like a bajillion dollars. anyways...enough of my mushy details. he probably said all this much more eloquently on his blog. :p
last night he tried to teach me how to play chess. i am so pessimistic. all i see are all the ways i can move and lose. i will try again and again to see the ways i can take him but dangit. i get so frustrated. i think it's the mix of OCD and ADD. hehe. either way he was pretty patient with me and that says A LOT!
yay!! for local music G. we should definately hook up and go see some stuff. and to be mild uncle chuck and G.B. SUCK! hehe.

I have never played chess because I'm a moron. I'm a checkers person, myself.
I started crocheting once a LONG time ago, back before I even entered the lovely ol' work force and did alright, but now...NO attention span. I had to get DSL because I couldn't stand waiting a second longer for a web page to load. I hate waiting for the voice messaging thing to tell me what date and time the person called before the message. When I'm at a stop light, I stare at the opposite direction's green light waiting it for turn red and say, comeoncomeoncomeon. (unless a good song is on the radio, then I'll even sit in my car in the driveway and wait for it to be over!)

chocolatey happiness...

not just another valentine's day!
well i have to admit i've never liked vday besides the little things i get from my family etc. no one had ever made it special for me, which i know is very cliche. everyone hates vday...but, not me, not this year! doing nothing at all or painting the town i will be happy to be with nick! ya ya that's mushy but i don't care. i'm just happy!

it's hump day again already...
this month is fly'in by! i don't want it to go fast but then on monday i always wish it was friday so i guess i can't complain er something?!
