The Vulcans and Royalty are part of the SPFHF.

But if we *were* to be part of the SPFHF...  Then we couldn't Hunt.

I used to be a member of the Saintly City Cat Club.  One person that like ran the whole thing, got her undies in a bundie because I quit 'doing' [entering] the cat show and helping to set up, blah, blah, blah.

I eventually left the club.  I'd go NUTZ pacing around Roy Wilkins two days o'the Hunt...  Wondering if the Puck had been found...  Wishing I was out Hunting...

There wasn't time for both and I just couldn't keep my mind off the Hunt.  So, I decided to Hunt.  It didn't hurt that I wasn't producing Grands, either!  LOL!!!

the world doesn't revolve around you and sue believe it or not, those taglines are referring to the joke that spurred payme to buy tiarra.  and if you still have beef about it, I think we can all agree it's better to settle that elsewhere and not in these threads.

seems to me tim that i have the right to post it on an open board. after all other people do and you don't seem to have a problem with that :)

tim i posted an observation, one that in fact had nothing false in it. not making a discussion on how things should have been taken, just how they were. that you can't handle that, or don't like what was said, is yourproblem. not mine.

Green - That wasn't a cow...it was a cow paper towel holder!!! It's probably still there. Was the last time the bocks were hunted.

And the 48 oz. margarita is a memory and a half...and it was after that and a few others that you thought I couldn't find my way out of the ramp. Hehehehehehe Good thing one of us was a designated driver!

Ter, *last* time bocks were hunted was when Natalie came bock from Duluth stowed away in Mom...  I wasn't there that time. 

It was STILL a COW!!!  Versus a bock/goat.  I have, since then, learned what's a cow and what's a goat and can differentiate the two...  (barely)

man i usually don't stick around after the hunt.. and this stuff has gotten out of control! as a relatively new member of this group.. i just want to say i like coming here, and i like the friendships that people have. i'd hate to see that go to waste because a few people have different ideas than a few other people. there's never going to be a 100% agreement. things can't always stay the same, online communities are growing organic things. we can change things on a surface level and still retain the essence of what the cooler crew is. i hate to see that ruined. i've liked coming here for the last five years.

Hey back on the logo thing? (and I know this is going to be painful) but can someone explain to me why we need one unifying logo?

I think OG79 has good points on the technical aspect, etc.  but maybe what we need to be talking about is unifying elements - like the old school white that green mentioned as opposed to just one specific logo.

Redbear, I've sort of been thinking about something similar. While I think it makes sense financially to have one logo and one crest (we only have to pay setup fees for the embroidery once), we could also be less organized and just ask people to ensure that their logos/crests contain 2 or 3 identifying elements like water bottles, the colors blue/white, the name spelled Cooler Crew (rather than with K's), etc.

That's funny that you said that too RB.. I was wondering the same thing. Why does there have to be an "official" logo. It could even change from year to year. And keep the one of the website the same so that people showing up here will recognize it. But if people want logos for other purposes, why not let them have what they want.

As far as quality issues, it's moot if people like what they have and it works for them. :)

GIVE ARTISTS TIL 3-1 to submit their logo/crest

give anyone and everyone who is ABLE to vote on favorites the month of MARCH to do so

Let the voting narrow the choices down to 2 or three of both (top 2 or 3 based on votes)

then let GREG SAX the original creator pick the fave to replace his as a current logo.

and then LET the original CC MEMBERS Pick the CREST - like GREEN, MOM, TV, INKS, IAN, OT etc.

That way we kill 2 birds with less stones and everyone gets a say one way or the other-

and for those of you ready to flame me because of the people who wont be able to vote -save it!

bear- the joke was that G thought she was a princess, I don't remember the exact roots of it because it was so long ago. I'm pretty sure it came from a bunch of us joking around about something and TMK said I could be a princess, and G said no I am. Either way, it was before TC got knighted.

the gift that payme is talking about was her buying little plastic tiaras for her close friends (g, scribe, leelabell) and giving them away. and because she obviously doesn't believe they are really princesses it is STILL a joke.

any more questions, why don't you egram me so we can keep this crap off the boards...

I can not agree with this more THX.  Here is the deal,  am I mad that Kitch and Kcorn go geocaching without inviting me?  Am I feeling left out because I dont talk to RandyRust everyday?  This happens when you make friends.  You talk you enjoy each others company!!!!  Inside things start to happen.  We were joking about princesses and tiaras.  I wanted to say thank you so thought of a funny joke to show my appreciation!!!  TC is angry because she thinks it is about her.  IT IS IN NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM ABOUT HER!!!  NOTHING IS ABOUT HER OR ARES.  THIS IS ME ONLY ME.  MY FUCKING THANK YOU HAS TURNED INTO A MONSTER AND IT SUCKS.  THE TAGLINES FROM US AGAIN WERE ALL ABOUT WHAT WE HAVE DISCUSSED.  IN NO WAY TRYING TO OFFEND ANYONE FOR ALL THOSE OTHERS WHO FELT LEFT OUT BECAUSE YOU DIDNT GET A TIARA.  HOW CAN I APOLOGIZE ENOUGH!!!!!  I appreciate so many people in here for so many different things.  This group of people has been nothing but kind and welcoming to me.  I live in Maple Grove so it is hard for me to get together to go hunting with the group.  Leelabell, Scribe, Big G, and Tim ALWAYS made sure I was included with what they were doing.  Does that mean I didnt spend time with others no.  I ran into several out and about at GW and the park!!!!  GET OFF THE TRIP ABOUT THE TIARAS!!!!  THIS IS THE LAST TIME I AM GOING TO SAY THIS.  IT IS NOT ABOUT YOUR WIFE.  HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH HER!!! If she has issues with this please tell her to egram me. 

 

On a personal level,  I don't even understand all this bickering and to be totally honest other then the tiaras have no idea why people are so angry.  I can't make this issue any more clear.  I tried to stay off this topic to let things calm down.  It didnt work.  So now I am trying to yell and scream to get my point accross!!!!  I am so sorry for all of you that have been offended.  Please know there is nothing to be offended about.

I can't. Why not have a page (like we do now, even though I haven't seen it yet because of slogging this) of logos and any one can use whatever logo they want. I'm going to use whatever I want on my clothing. I don't care if I can get a different logo cheaper. I'll use the one I want. I also think that THX can use whatever logo he wants on these pages and OTiS can use what he want's on coolertimes and ares on coloercrew! To end the argument every one should just do as they please.

easy, I hacked into peoplesforum.com, re-wrote a bit of code to take out the avatar requirement, and applied the changes only to my account.

LOL! just kidding, I used a 1x1 pixel transparent gif. Web designers use them for spacings on sites. So technically I do have an avatar, it's just tiny and invisible.

Well I finally got to see the logo graphics thread. Are ESD's the only ones submitted so far? Where are the rest that I saw in this thread? Or do they have to be mailed directly to Payme? I thought some people posted them here before that was set up, but don't see them.

That's what is going to come down to, but if we had done that without asking anyone people would have gotten mad at us for being cliquey and maybe changing things without asking. But you're right, that's what is going to happen.
