Calling all designers!!!
Get your logo and or crest submitted to be voted on by the whole crew. (the current logo will also be available to vote)
Have your submissions entered on the board I will post up here the deadline date when it is decided! Email me at pay_me@comcast.net. I will have them posted in the Logo thread.

If you are in contact with those Cooler Crew members who have left the board after the hunt, please email them and let them know about this vote!!!!! We want to contact as many people as possible to submit their ideas and be able to vote!!!
Once the logo and or crest has been chosen....we will start a discussion on the next step!

So I think I've got something to agree on -
There's a bunch of interesting designs that people came up with. And, it's a shame to hold a contest and pick just one. Instead, how about we pick "elements of logo" that people can ALL agree on.
If you choose to get clothing made, like Kitch is going to - or like me2 did - that's cool - that's your call - but as a group, whatever logo you choose must adhere to the elements we commonly agree on.
Finally, (actually this is only a two step process - ) If you get something made, SHARE! Post your idea! Ask if people want to share the cost! Get people excited! That way, you can get what you want - people can share if they want - and if others don't like it - they have EVERY OPPORTUNITY to make/get their own stuff.

The most imporant thing - PARAMOUNT - Is you MUST share. For the group's sake - and for your own sake. If someone complains that you and your friends got something they didn't - if you SHARE - you can tell them to shove it.

If you share, then you can tell people to go to hell if they complain about something you did. I'm all for multiple logos - hell the Arizona Diamondbacks have seventeen or something.
We'll just think of it as cooler alternate jerseys.

Payme- Can we post the logos on the header of the page? It's going to be hard to slog the messages to look at the logos otherwise. Thank you.
I also liked the one with the snowcapped letters.
The current ones you have up ESD are cooler too. My only comment is that the water jugs seem to take up more room than they need to...but that's just my own personal opinion.
Of course, I also like the original one. It has roots. :-)

I decided I'm not gonna submit an entry. Too many cons and not enough pros for me personally. Not that I'm thinkin a logo is bad or good or indifferent, I'd still vote and all that good stuff.

Send your logos to Pay Me. The "Logo voting" thread is now a "Logo depository" that people can pick and choose from?
And - we'll get a new thread started up for "sharing ideas that people want to do".?
I don't think I've made this comment before, so I'll say it now.
I personally like the old logo. It says who we are and thats the point of it.
I like the new stuff too.
In fact I like anything that says cooler crew on it. I like anything that makes you think cooler crew. I think this is why people can't get enough of the buttons, window clings and bumper stickers.
Look at us... we buy them up like crazy. Just to show our love for the crew.
All those things have had slightly different takes on how they speak of the cooler (buttons have the original logo) but I have never looked at any one item and not been able to associate it with the crew.
If people like the idea of staying true to the original concept with a small variation for those who want to make stuff then great.
Maybe we have finally found a middle ground.

So, to follow up on my earlier post - are we agreeing anything anyone does can be used as a logo - Or, do we want to have common elements like water barrels, color, Cooler Crew spelling, etc.
