But grasston is a nice town.....too bad my parents are moving from up that way to down by lacrosse...would give me a good reason to stop over and say hi.....
We have our own LAN, and set it up ourselves, and I am not thinking that the guys running have it all figured out yet, as it is constantly changing due to new concerns. No one has done internet over satellite before (from here)...
So... If I am on sparingly over the next few days, that is why...
That link you posted was lances post right? Thats the 1st I've heard from him in a long time. I'll have to catch up with that thread tomorrow or something.
I think it was last night after some of us got back from Perkins that I was online-I saw Lance in the whos here list at about 3 in the morning -I think-it coulda been the night before.
Congrats LL & NT on selling your house! I'm sure that's one big load off (with another one right there to replace it).
We've had a pretty quiet day here all in all. Tonight was our night for steak dinner. They were from Sam's, which usually is pretty good, and all though the flavor was excellent, ther were a little.....chewy. Kind of disappointing.
Then we watched SharkTales tonight - that was kind of cute. I know the kids are going to want to watch it over and over....
Looks like the dates fall pretty much the same as this year. Not much chance of getting time off for me, I'm afraid. Maybe I can ask for a floating vac day. I'm not going to worry myself about it too much right now.
We had talked one year about having a group picnic in a different park each month for a few of the "nicer" months. But with everyone's busy schedules, it got kind of difficult. We try to do that a little bit as a family.Â
For each international release, the role of the news reporter "Katie Current" was recast to a prominent female news anchor of that country. For example, in the Australian release it is 'Tracey Grimshaw' , the co-anchor of the Australian "Today" (1982) show. In the UK version, it is Fiona Phillips, presenter of "GMTV" (1993).
The other neat one I saw was when Lenny coughs up the objects on the table, one of them is a license plate with the registration "007 981." This is the same plate found inside the tiger shark in the movie Jaws.
OTS- you sound just like me. If you want to know how to prepare for the next hunt, e-gram me. I'll tell you what I have been doing the last few years. It has helped.
Sup Ian. "What do you think is in the burger?" was a famous line from the show. I believe kids would be eating a Barthe Burger and they would always end up puking.
what the heck, I was gonna go out caching today too.. oh well, stay indoors and cleanup the computer a bit, maybe the room, sort out some stuff, work on some maps...
Dawg has decided that I should drop little Bella off at her grandmas every day for a while. She says I need to get out and talk to adults before I go crazy=P

Zephy!!!
So good to know you're okay.
lance is back? I haven't had time to read over there since the hunt. I'm still not caught up here for that matter. Nice fire over here by the way...
Congrats LL and NT! Hope you all don't forget us in the future!
Lance isn't back yet. We're still waiting on a statement

That's also the only post he's made

I said it on the Hunt thread and i'll say it here. That is coming from someone I've NEVER met. Makes me wonder who the dweeb and the loser is.
Notice i'm not naming names.
I musta totally missed something here. um, what?
I'm off to the bar shortly...... Buh Bye.
I finally slogged the 2005 hunt board. Found a know-it-all that is really clueless.
I've said my piece. Now I'm going to the bar for real.
Good Evening!

Ok...
The 2006 Winter Carnival runs from January 27 (Friday) - February 5th next year. That should put the first date of the hunt at 22 January.
The countdown clock is set to end at 11pm the 21st (PDG).
At the time of this posting that puts us at a countdown of 343 Days, 00 Hours & 30 Minutes
Very well done.
Looks like the dates fall pretty much the same as this year. Not much chance of getting time off for me, I'm afraid. Maybe I can ask for a floating vac day. I'm not going to worry myself about it too much right now.
There is nothing compulsive/obsessive about any of us! 343 days only? Let's start picking parks!
Trust me.... all I'm doing is thinking about what we can do now to ready ourselves for the hunt next year.
Trying to gather as much info on parks and the history on them as possible. I can use the 343 days :)
We had talked one year about having a group picnic in a different park each month for a few of the "nicer" months. But with everyone's busy schedules, it got kind of difficult. We try to do that a little bit as a family.Â
Weekends especially are a problem with so many going out of town.
Found some trivia from Shark Tale...

How about that strip of sticky paper hanging behind him that he was always picking his nose and adding to.
Yeah, I remember that. My favorites were the skits they did on the school bus and in the living room.
