You answered you question yourself, they want to get paid. But again, I'm not jumping on the innocent/guilty bandwagon yet, if it turns out they were assaulted they should be compensated in some way. If not, they should be forced to pay all legal fees for clogging up an already busy court system.

That folks, is the quote of the year. Amazing.

Wouldn't this guy going to jail be enough "compensation"?

Unfortunately, pretty much a big waste of time.

I got there the first day andthey showed us the video and ran over the procedure of how things will happen. About 2/3 of the people got called up to be interviewed throughout the day, myself not included. Had lunch at subway and they let us all go at 2:30

Second day they didn't have any cases and let us all go at 11:30

And they didn't need anyone else for the rest of the week.

Bummer too, It would have been really interesting to have been on a case.

Don't EVEN get me started on the socio-political aspect of the Smurfs.  It could get bloody in here...

The all time greatest St. Paul Pioneer Press Cartoon: They have a guy on the operating table with a surgeon cutting him open. The caption says "Bill was convinced the Winter Carnival Medallion was within 2 inches of his appendix." Right away I thought of Bill Gralish.

During the medallion hunt, Cathi Hogan and I got to chatting (while digging of course) about her kindergarten class. She mentioned this fictional character she made up named Zero the Hero. Every tenth school day Zero brings a treat for the class that is shaped like a zero.

Anyways, Cathi also mentioned how fun it would be if someone would come in on the 100th school day and wear a Zero the Hero costume and hand out the treats in person. So I volunteered and did it this morning, and I realized how funny kids are. I sat while they did other things so I would get a chance to talk to Cathi before I left. Everyone just stared at me the whole time. It was fun!

PS Rumour has it, pictures were taken.

you're not 'venting' like an airliner, are you? Cuz that's just plain (err- plane) unamerican. Why does anyone really care about the Simpsons, anyway? We're all too very, very busy being mature adults editing important stuff on russellfreedom, and discussing foam on redandnater.
Pppppppppppppppppppppp.

Me2- Why, thank you maam. (about the making you laugh thing)
Jake- don't get me wrong- I love Homer.(as in Simpson) When I turned 42 I learned to appreciate all the Homerisms. Then!!! This last hunt, the clue writers went and desecrated the good and pure name of Homer, and turned it into a probable opium addicted philosopher with no good intentions and alot of hot air to blow out his left nostril. Not only that, but possessed powers possibly limited to those of an anal retentive-colon interested genetic failure who helped none of us actually turn in the medallion. ;P

Umm- That's MY story, and I'm sticking to it.

Umm- (again) is this a BAD thing?
