I clicked on the links and saw the pictures. Cooler! When I came back to the page, the links I clicked showed up as pics, but the others didn't untill I clicked the links. Weird.

weekends are too short...

friday a few friends put together a little surprise birthday party for my friend jane. twas fun!

on saturday my mom and 7 other girlie family members got a hotel room down by the mall of america and hung out. it was soo much fun. we sat around ate and scrap booked and i learned how to knit. sounds kinda boring but i had such a good time!

on sunday
nick
(for those uninformed few, click on 'nick' to go to his blog) and i hung out. we went to como to try to go to the zoo, it was closed, went to bandana square, it was closed we were thinking it was a sign we should just go rent movies and lay low. so we did...but before that we stopped by the humane society and played with some animals. i wanted to bring them all home but i was good and left them there sad and crying at me. later...we watched 'without a paddle' which was pretty dang funny and an older george lucas movie 'THX 1138' it was also pretty good. strange and weird but i like those flicks!

i have been missing my friend josh a lot lately and worry bout him a lot. if you wanna send out a little hello to him you can check out...

on the runway...
so i've been addicted to this show. Project Runway on Bravo. it was so good. last night was the finale, jenny and nick came over to watch the madness. it was so catty and grewling it was awesome. and Jay won which rocks cuz his pieces were the best. i even made dinner. ya me. cooked and all. although i did not clean the kitchen which is very unlike me. the obsessive compulsiveness must be at a low right now. hehe.

wednesday nick and i went to mark's for his birthday. it was a nice little dinner and conversation with people i haven't seen in a long time or don't get to see very often. we talked a lot about maja and the northway's. we have all been thinking about them a lot, keeping them in our thoughts and prayers. good friends are hard to find and i am so happy i have found the ones i have now. i feel blessed. peace.

Mortality rate for NG members is higher than active duty members in Iraq.

If so inclined, please write letters to the decision makers. Scribble, use crayons, type it, 5 words or 5 pages... doesn't matter. Volume matters. Tell them that it is poor strategy to put NG soldiers on the front lines, using them as human shields:
