I always wanted to be married with a kid, a house, a Caddie and a decent job by the time I was 40.  I've done that.  Unfortunately, I didn't consider all of the sub-folders of 'stuff' that goes along with having what you want.  But no matter what, It's all still relative.  All you need to do is think about those 3 Minnesota families who lost their heros today.

Word. Whenever I think I have it bad, I think of all the kids I saw in Haiti in particular in the hospital full of kids with AIDS and TB, some of the happiest kids I've ever seen, it was unbelievable. That was a few years ago so they're probably all dead right now, but they lived their short lives to the fullest.

It can all be gone in a second. Stuff's not worth anything if you don't appreciate what really matters.

It's not hard to understand MM. Everyone goes through tough stuff, some people go through tougher things than others. It's life. You survive. You decide what's important in the grand scale of things and you keep on living.

I dunno... I guess I'm just kinda down... because it was about this time last year.. when I found out I was pregnant w/my first child.... and I wound up losing it... sorry guys... didn't mean to sound like a whiner :(

That's the 'stuff' I was referring to.  The non-tangible kind.  Certain dates do that to people.  My best friend still takes a vacation day every January when his 3yr old died because he knows he won't be of any use and to honor his child.

well I AM down about money... I barely have a pot to piss in.. and anyone who either is out on their own, married and raising a family, or married/dating w/o kids can sympathize... but it's just been a really tough day... got into it w/Mark about him finding another job.... and I just needed to vent a little bit.. because I don't have anyone to listen.
