I'm back!  Sorry, I stepped away to get kids into bed, then wound up on the phone with my mom for a bit.

Green, I'd bowl with you.  I really started to get "in" to it a couple years ago.  Emily and I joined a youth/adult league...2 actually.  But we didn't get signed up in the fall, Dad's school schedule kind of got in the way.  Looking at doing a Spring league with her again though.  And my avg sux too - no 300 games or anything.  I don't even know where my average was last time we were really bowling a lot, but probably not more than like 120.

Hi LL!  How long do you have your house for?!?!  Have you found one up nord?

we were supposed to close on this one the 28th but the guy will be out of town so we agreed on the 7th, yes we found a house up north, close on that one march 10th.

On Wednesday night Kris got his 3rd 300, at Dutler's Bowl in Mankato. His 2nd was at Victory Bowl in Mankato, on January 2nd. His 1st was at Flaherty's Bowl in Arden Hills, a couple years ago.

With his 812 series honor score, this will be his 4th ring.

Cm- looking for von johnson? Here you go!

started out with Von  Johnson, it got swiped under the now infamous password scam and Lance wouldn't give it back to me for two years. After I lost it, I used Dizzy Lane for a while, but everyone knew it was me. I then changed my nick to Von Johnson with a period at the end. That didn't set well so I changed it to Chaz. I kept Chaz until I got my Von Johnson nick reinstated, and used it until Lance took it away again just recently.....But all along people knew who I was....so sorry, I wasn't using a fam to post.

Three armed robbery suspects, chased from Bloomington to Mendota Heights, were arrested Wednesday after crashing a getaway car into a tree, police said. After the accident, the trio fled on foot but were caught by police about two hours later.

The armed robbery happened at 9:16 a.m. in the Ramada Inn, 2201 E. 78th St., in Bloomington, police said. The victims told police that three male acquaintances stole a DVD player and video games.

"It's Not Easy Being Green"

The following is reprinted from "The Sesame Street Book & Record".
'Green' is (c)1970 Jonico Music, Inc.

It's not that easy being green;
Having to spend each day the color of the leaves.
When I think it could be nicer being red, or
   yellow or gold-
or something much more colorful like that.

It's not easy being green.
It seems you blend in with so many other
   ordinary things.
And people tend to pass you over 'cause you're
not standing out like flashy sparkles in the water-
   or stars in the sky.

But green's the color of Spring.
And green can be cool and friendly-like.
And green can be big like an ocean, or important
like a mountain, or tall like a tree.

When green is all there is to be
It could make you wonder why, but why wonder why?
Wonder, I am green and it'll do fine,
   it's beautiful!
And I think it's what I want to be.

Good Evening!

CM - if you must be 60 or 70, I don't want to think about what I am.

I always loved Sesame Street and the Muppets too! My favorite Muppets tune is Rainbow Connection.

LL - The house is cute! Hope you enjoy being out of the cement jungle.

Green loves being green. Good thing cuz it ain't easy. :-)

My favorite skit on Sesame Street was when a plumber was knocking at the door and a talking bird on the other side of the door kept saying "who is it?"  and the plumber would say "it's the plumber, I've some to fix your sink"
. Time would pass and the plumber would knock again, starting the whole process over, and over, and over...  LOL

Does anyone remember that?

Jake update: He started eating and drinking out of his dish this evening, and he made it up the back steps with out falling. He still looks like he is drunk when walking but it's alot better. Oh he did not have a stroke it's called Vestibular Syndrome the vet said it was like a stroke and I guess that just stuck in my head.

Glad to see he's improving anyway ESD.

Does anyone remember that?

Oh yeah, hilarious!  It always ended with a guy coming from the other room asking who was at the door.  Where the bird would say "It was the plumber, he came to fix the sink"

HAHA

I liked those "Yup Yup Yup Yup" dudes from outer space too.  Way funny when their bottom jaw would go up over their nose.

Of course when thinking about Sesame Street lately, I can only think of this:

I can't get the song "feed jake" outta my head..

I love that song! we got a little dog a few years ago that I named jake because of that song, we ended up giving him away because we couldn't get him to stop peeing and crapping all over the house, I felt bad keeping him in a kennel all the time so I gave him to one of my customers.

glad he is feeling better ESD :)

'Marnin', 'Heads!

Digger, ssssoooo glad to hear about Jake!  Tell him "Hay!" for me and give him a HUGE kiss.

I've never wanted to be red or yellow or whatever other colours mentioned.  And I don't know if ittiz easy or not being green.  Being green's all I know, so how do I know if ittiz hard or not?  Ittiz me.  Ittiz what I'm used to.  I just did an essay on Apollonion/Dionysian views, left-brain/right-brain thinking; which was I, which would I rather be.  And I basically said the same thing, "I ams what I ams."   And if enkneebuddy's curious I'm Dionysian/right-brained.  The Dionysian should come as no surprise, but I'd always thought I was left-brained because I'm right handed.  Well!  I scored off-the-chart for right-brained thinking, and now can say,

"I'M IN MY RIGHT MIND!!!!!!!!!"  :D

Good Morning!

ESD - So glad to read that Jake's improving.

Speaking of Sesame Street things....anyone remember Bert doing the pigeon in those saddle shoes? The first time I saw that I laughed till I cried. It all had to do with the saddle shoes.

For first grade we had a Sesame Street play.  I got to play Ernie and sing Rubber Duckie.

I also can't help but think about a website from the past called "Bert is Evil".  Not sure if it's still around.  I would think it is.
