That would need a very large frame if you did the cross stitch! Maybe eventually you could just do a line or two from the poem. Something to do when you're retired. ;) I've taken up knitting again. It keeps my hands busy and I don't smoke as much. I think I was smoking more because I was bored. Can't wait for spring!
I should be in bed too, but I'm having trouble letting go of the day I guess. Stressful one as is usual at the beginning of the month. I worked till 7:30 tonight and could have stayed till midnight. One of my staff who had a birthday yesterday and had asked for vacation was too sick to come into work today. She's gotten in the habit of catching the weekend flu. Of all the flipping days for her to not be at work.
Then I heard again from the feds...wanted me to fax them stuff that would have taken all day to fax once I got it pulled. Told the dingbat that he'd have to wait. I reminded him this was the first day of the month and we were very busy. I was so "polite" about it, he had no choice but to say it was okay to get it by the end of the week. I wanted to reach through that phone and strangle him.
Kill'um with kindness. I did that once and had the guy apologizing profusely to me! Was Cooler! :D
I can't let go o'the nite... I've got my 2nd xam next Tues... Gonna bee a KILLER. Controversy in the arts; and then visual art from the French cave paintings up to van Gogh. Not an art class; a humanities class. Just can't quit thinking o'class and that PERFECT A! :D
As adults we tend to do better in college. When my daughter was at St. Kate's they offered classes for credit for parents at no cost. I went full time and did better than I ever did when I was at the U of M years ago.Â
I thought I was gonna be like way behind. But come to find out my life experiences [which effect my thinking/reasoning] are putting me ahead of many in the class.
I'm actually doing better having been outta acadamia a long time than many of those that are continuing along the scholarly path sans interruption!
I believe that's because as older adults, we see the knowledge gained as something concrete. Younger people see that knowledge as a means to an end that they haven't quite grasped.
You it American speech of monkies animal, the speech & speaks.... No action. ... I' m will find you and the piss on you. Each last one! All that I know it is when I see that that loses it makes me wanna goes from the wee!
You have paid the ultimate price for me, I could never thank you enough; but I’ll live the rest of my life, through eternity giving you all the glory!
Praising your name, dancing with the Holy Spirit, joyful yells & pleading for forgiveness-- Getting on my hands & knees, humbling myself to You Lord. Spreading your Word, getting to know your Word for myself. Praying. Loving. Giving when I can give. To have reverence to your call.
Listening when-- The birds sing, trees sway, the ocean waves, babies cry, howling in the night, when loved ones speak, and Pastor preaches.
I see you in every day-- Â In the morning break, at the evening sunset, in the midnight sky filled with the stars & moon, in the eyes of others, in the homeless & hungry, in the blessings & miracles you give ME EVERYDAY! And in your Word.
I feel you when-- The thunder rumbles, the wind blows my hair, the sun is warming my skin, when the Holy Ghost tickles my spine, when I sing your praises, when life is born, and when I gave my life to you.
How could I not thank you? You have brought me from one of the lowest points of my life, to feeling a joy I never thought I could. You have let me live when I should’ve died.... For that, I thank You.
You gave me a strong & loving family. My friends have helped me grow mentally & spiritually. For these blessings, I thank you.
You brought me from cussing and discussing, to showing YOUR light when darkness surrounds. You brought me from attitudes & glares, to blessings & cheers! So I thank You.
My life you have blessed-- day in and day out-- Unsaved and saved: Most of the time not even a “thanks”. So now, for ALL you’ve done, and all You will do...For All that You are... I love You and I THANK YOU!
Yes, I understand that. I was trying to picture it and the inflections that she would add to the words.  The Holy Spirit sounds like fun though. Dancing and tickling. :) Kind of humanizes it.
Wow. You know me, Ter. I'm not into all *that* kind'a stuff... But even I was moved. The hairs on my arms stood up. You're rite, it needs Daught. I'd like to hear her read it. You can tell it's her, though. Very impressive.
And ittiz NOT too long to do sampler-esque. Piece o'cake.
Not a hard one. Super easy; didn't even need my GPSr... So ittiz not like what others have done that are much harder. But it does COUNT, and that's all that COUNTS! To me. :D
Got within like 121 feet o'finding my second cache, but toes were going numb. So gave up for the day. But I know where ittiz - I think - and yust gotta go bock and do some REAL geocaching.
Me, too! Nice call. Pretty damn calm, all things considered. Must be Valium City. LOL!!!
And I found my first cache! :D I cheated and noodled, but... Hay! I FINALLY NOODLED MY WAY TO A TREASURE!!! I FINALLY truly aced a couple o'clues! Can't beat THAT with a stick! :D
I'd say thank you but I only posted it. I will pass it on to her though. Her writing is her way of coping with the situations she and other soldiers had/have to endure. For those of us who have not experienced it first hand it is remarkable that she can provide us a window of relation. It certainly is a perspective the evening news does not give us.
Ter, can't bee any worse than the reproduction samplers I've done... They're big mo-fo's. BIG.

OT... Iffin' you wanna read them... Uh, you can. If you want. Don't gotta. But if you want.
What were the subjects of these essays?
I hope they're almost through with you, TV.Â
I'd love to! Want my email or what?
We thought they were done with us. They are like the never ending nightmare.
Kill'um with kindness. I did that once and had the guy apologizing profusely to me! Was Cooler! :D

You can go to bed. You'll be just as smart tomorrow. :)
No, OT. You need to see his comments. I let you read the little binder/folder thighy.

Wow! That's a prayer....a love letter to God! But I guess that's what a prayer is. Thanks for posting that. Beautifully done!
That was beautiful.
It's even better the way she presents it. There's no way to share that here.
Yes, I understand that. I was trying to picture it and the inflections that she would add to the words.  The Holy Spirit sounds like fun though. Dancing and tickling. :) Kind of humanizes it.
It does do that.
Wow. You know me, Ter. I'm not into all *that* kind'a stuff... But even I was moved. The hairs on my arms stood up. You're rite, it needs Daught. I'd like to hear her read it. You can tell it's her, though. Very impressive.

You're having a good week, green! Glad the call came.

Brenda's poem was beautiful! I would have loved to hear her recite it!
Good job Green on the grades and the cache!
She has that uncanny ability to be calm when things aren't. Good someone is.
I was reading about your find in your thread - sans chick - and chuckled when you said you found it by noodling.
Hey Scribe!
Your friend's piece was awesome!
I get so busy trying to slog everything that I don't remember where anything is posted.
I'm sure there will be more from her to share.
