When I was a teenager I had a boyfriend who had a brother... the brother hung himself in the garage---He was only 16!!!!

That would have freaked me out!  I had a couple friends who had a suicide pact...the girl took her pills and was rushed to the hospital (they did save her) but as soon as the guy found out he freaked and decided NEVER MIND!!

We've got robins today. Must be spring!

This one time in the Army this guy tried to kill himself by wrapping the cord of a floor buffer around his neck. They he tossed the buffer out the window. Problem was that there was to much cord left. So all he ended up doing was paying for a new buffer.

I taking a ride north tomorrow to look for Great Gray owls.  Think I'll go to Kettle River first.  Nick's uncle saw some there.  Otherwise I keep on going to Cotton, north of Cloquet.

yeah spring is almost here!!! I am so sick of winter already!

My mom lived in a small apt getto place in the Midway 12ish yrs ago. One day the police showed up cause a woman in the basement level hadnt been seen in quite some time. Turns out she committed suicide. I glanced in the door but only got a glance. I think my sister actually went in the apartment and saw the whole thing. I did go into the apt after they took the body. It was creepy to say the least. Now anytime I drive by there (Hamline and University) I get the eebie jeebie and think how sad it was that it happened.

When I was in the Army I worked with the Casualty Branch (during the heavy Bosnia stuff).  There was a guy that committed suicide....he drank a gallon of bleach.......I get that he wanted to die but how did he get past the first sip.

Dead people freak me out.  I dont need to see you dead,  I dont want to talk to ghosts,  and I have no desire for aliens to contact me:)

AW's hunt is the start of spring for me....
I figure his hunt will have a big snow melt day....
I figure his hunt burns up those last few days of winter....

Have you ever wondered if your relative came back and was watching you right now? typing at the computer? or when you climb into the shower? or when you are making love? or sitting next to you in your car. If they are real and out there than they can be anywhere!

yup, hate spiders! That's part of the reason I hate this house, lots of spiders in the basement! and centipedes too, now those things creep me out! every now and then I'll get up in the morning and turn on the light and see one run across the sink ::shudder::

One of my grandson's went to his first day of preschool yesterday.  I asked him how it was and he said he was a good boy but he pulled down someone's drawing of a skeleton from the wall.  I asked if his teacher was mad and he said, "No, it was an accident and it won't happen again".  lol  You think he was paraphrasing the teacher?  ;)

yep....KATIE will be starting....

Right now she will be going to st. john's....
but if SSP does the all day kindergarden I might change that.....now that they have an IB program K-12...

I asked because the grandson might be going to St. John's.  But he has one more year of preschool.  He's smart too.  ;)   He has an October birthday so might test in early.  The little girl to the north of them is the same age too and goes to St. John's preschool now.  He's going to St. Richard's in Richfield but she wants him in a neighborhood school when he starts full time.

better act fast if not enrolled....I know its almost full!!!!!

Really??  I'll tell her that.  She could always drop out I suppose if he stays at St. Richard's.  Thanks!  That's for this coming September?  He might not be starting until the following year, but I think that would be a mistake.  I held two of my July birthdays back because they weren't ready, but this kid is ready.
