this question got started about 4 days ago when I was at Rosedale. I picked up a pen and depending on which way you held it in your hand-if you were right handed...you could read the writing (advertising) along the pen just fine...if you were left handed the writing was upsidedown and backwards. This also brought the conversation to coffee mugs. If I hold the mug in my right hand I can see the picture or read the words. If I hold it in my left hand I get nothing (unless there is a picture all the way around the mug OR there is writing on both sides).
I happen to use both my hands for different tasks. I handwrite with my left. I use the computer mouse more with my right. I swing right handed for golf and baseball. I need my left for a baseball glove AND to throw a baseball, so I need to catch the ball and then take the glove off to throw the ball.

I have three true left handed kids and one ambidextrous. He writes with right but bats and golfs left handed. So you could say half of my kids are lefties I guess. Isn't that bizarre? Neither my husband nor myself are lefties.Â
