It seems Clue #2 has had an underwhelming response. But the first two clues are kind of "exposition" anyway. Things will get interesting starting tomorrow.
recent post suggests that maybe we can throqw out Occam's Razor and actually hit the second degree of Kevin Bacon to solve this hunt. I'm guessing someone else has already posted that the Bicycle being capitalized suggests Bicycle brand playing cards, perhaps buried in a box. He is using card gam references so far: "Trick" "score" "bet" "Bicycle" All we need are references to "turn" or "river" and I'm gonna be heading out to Canterbury Park to dig :)!
wow- my body hurts after yesterday. I ran a couple of miles. I walked for the geocaching 101 event. Then trying to keep a stance for darts at Ferns. ouch. I need a bubblebath...better yet a hot tub.
Someone shoulda donated a night in their hot tub! I sooo would be looking harder for this coin.
When you're in a hurry you take steps two at a time. Don't know what that means but I can make it fit my Alice In Wonderland theme. "I'm late, I'm late, for a very important date. No time to say hello, goodbye, I'm late, I'm late, I'm late, I'm late." As sung by the March Hare
and to think my mom was gonna buy me one for Christmas but I havnt picked it out even yet. Otherwise I would have mine- hhahaha -I wanted to pull a "Jake"!
Allison - I like the Bicyle clue! Not sure what a moment of dark means, but we'll figure that out.
I've been noodling the two step thing and the animals. Don't know where this is going, but most animals walk on 4 feet so for them to take two steps, don't they move each foot twice for a total of 8?
I got thinking about this because the one line in the clue Ponder if we were the animals as you stroll and this As you sometimes take not one step, but two.
Probably goes nowhere but it's what this brain noodled and I thought I'd share.
shadow of a scoreboard??

Thanks for the tease AW...I will be back tomorrow then:)
Remember... The White Rabbit kind'a redoes over/makes better/fixes the 'bad' in the current year's Med Hunt...
ya...its easy for him to go back and fix his own mistakes...
I wish there was a separate thread for the clues. I've forgotten today's already. Guess I'll have to slog. Â
Oh. And remember Oscar's Razor. More than one step away's too many.
So the Beatle, Yellow Submarine, Whatever's too many steps. The White Rabbit's really hung up on not going too many steps...
Or izz he? :D
That would be Occam's Razor. Remember to read the first clue though.
I keep the clues on my Yahoo group.
So, you stepping outta the Looking Glass, so-to-speak, Oh Mighty White One? :DÂ
Why tack on "Remember to read the first clue though."
 Huh? :D

Great meeting several people for the first time yesterday at Ferns

It seems to me the first clue says rather specifically that you will need to take two steps sometimes, whatever taking two steps means exactly. >:)
Ugghh!! why do I sign up for this, I'm so out of my league!
RRRRRRRRRRush!
nice to see you again, as always.
Â
the clue writer stays in the conversation here !!

Â
I like Allison's logical thinking and am hoping that the clues dont get TOO deep!
Â
he is a deep thinker you know!
Actually it was the White Rabbit that was late for his date. The March Hare was the comrade of the Mad Hatter at the tea party.
Kitch, I'd let you use the detector, but I'm tryin to bring it on the plane with me Wed.
how you can do that and not be broke is beyond me...
Walk 3.5 miles per hour for 2 hours no time to buy, that's how
I stand corrected. ;) Forgot there were a couple of rabbits. lol
and to think my mom was gonna buy me one for Christmas but I havnt picked it out even yet. Otherwise I would have mine- hhahaha -I wanted to pull a "Jake"!

Speaking of stories, I heard today your husband is the brother of a woman that used to be in my singles club for quite a while.
I'll go with a spade or a club that's hopping all over the place.
or not
Hi all - man I felt nekid without the net at work today. Damn - I was forced to get some actual work done. I think it's a conspiracy or something.

no Kitch, I am just trying to plan ahead is all.
This hunt can't go 12 clues though ...I dont know if I counted the days out correctly, but we just got tickets to the Timberwolves game on the 20th.

I just hope it goes as many clues as needed
I hope it goes a while, because the more clues there are, the more likely it is that I understand one of the clues.
You heard correctly. Small world, isn't it.
I hope it goes a while, because the more clues there are, the more likely it is that I understand one of the clues.
I'm so with you on that one Timmers!
The 12th clue would come out on St. Patrick's Day. I don't think it will go that far though.
