In Phalen, there's a sculpture of a sailboat. Is it *just* a sailboat, or something more? Does it serve an additional purpose besides being a bunch o'metal in the shape of a sailboat?

Sometimes art serves another purpose than just being art. For example, a painting fills a void on a wall. Or a beautiful pitcher can pour delicious margaritas. Both art objects are serving a dual purpose.
Anyway, what does THG say about that sailboat at Phalen, huh? I think there's something in his book about it.

It seems to me... Did I read the sailboat at Phalen's a sundial? If so, there's your dark moment in time. Plus if same, only difference is what you do: one you sail, one you tell time with. And you wouldn't get wet either... And you'll be all set... Set to sail, too?
And Bicycle ride would be not only playing of poker, but riding on the bike path would guide you to the sailboat.
BUT, this is all contingent on *if* that sailboat's a sundial, and I can't remember!

I don't know if this has been posted or not, or whether or not it's even appropriate to do so, but I know that the subject appreciates kind thoughts and prayers. So here goes:
Diane (Outtamymind) has been hospitalized over the last week and a half (is now home) with a series of minor strokes. To the best of my knowledge, she is *relatively* ok, she can walk and talk, but has periods of confusion. This would be tragic enough for someone of 38, but she has six (6!) children as well, so resources are extremely tight for them.
I'm not sure what to do to help out, other than to pray for a safe recovery for her, and hope you all will do the same.
That's too bad about outtamymind. She had even sent me a check so that she could be registered for the hunt. Hopefully she'll still get out or maybe someone can hunt on her behalf.
Green, have no idea. Like I said, I *think* she's doing ok, but obviously hopes and prayers would be helpful. I know her kids have been staying out at a relative's.
