I'm back from getting my brakes done. They needed a lot of work. Ended up costing $300 so now the prize is only $200 (just kidding!)

No, the other $200 is all in prizes so you'd have to sell them off first.

Here's another one for you:

It's only good for hard rock tunes tho.  So don't try using it on any of that country stuff.  ;-)  Enjoy

-Country ain't that bad I guess. Somebody just turned me on to it so I better give it half a chance.

Clue #4

Head west going straight from sides numbering eight
Around midway enjoy some barbecued cuisine.
Look south of Crosby’s gate and you’ll do simply great
If you find you can roughly duplicate this scene.

And the previous clues:

Clue #3

The spinning roulette wheel is a hint to the deal
As is a famous west coast educational place
Lucifer's lair helps reveal what we sought to conceal
Seek unmapped terrain and it will make you an ace.

Clue #2

A Bicycle ride will be your guide
To what you are looking for
And in the park a moment of dark
Will hold the way to keep score

Clue #1

Come make your bet on the trickiest hunt yet.
As you sometimes take not one step, but two.
You'll be all set and not have to get wet
If the same, only different is what you do.

A treasure renowned, one lost, another found
Ponder if we were the animals as you stroll
To be treasure bound, search on the ground
And score a payday if you make a field goal

I think this clue might pinpoint it if you look into it.

Go west from a stop sign, at a halfway point there could be a bbq grill, look south and there it is.

.....or not

3M - I want you to be wrong too - but I'm thinking you might not be.

The space between HF and Crosby is interesting right now.

Wed, 03/09/2005 - 5:15 PM Permalink
Mr. Med Hunter

I agree with 3m - If you go WEST from the eight sided planter in Crosby you'll come across the grills about halfway between the planter and the gate. Is there a No U-turn sign anywhere near the gate? If you find U.

south of crosbys gate is Ft snelling

I don't think we need to look for things pertaining to gambling to find the coin.  He's just using gambling referrences in the clues because the coin is a casino coin.  At least that's how I see it.

So Como has Midway leading to it, fire pits (Lucifer's lair), stop signs,  a couple of gates. the traffic circle by the pavillion could be considered a wheel I guess.  And it's near Gate's Ajar where they take wedding photos.

not one step, but two.

You'll be all set and not have to get wet

If the same, only different is what you do

Not one park, but 2? As in crosby/hidden falls?  Stay away from the water (not cliff or waters edge) Same only different part of the park (crosby)
