VERY COOL!

I remember that storm, CM.  We lived in an apartment at the time and hadn't really met any of the other tenants.  No one could get to work that day.  The snow was up over the hoods of the cars.  Everyone came out of their apartments and we set up a bar for the adults in the hallway and the kids played games.  When we ran out of booze someone called the local liquor store and they actually got through and delivered!  The only vehicle moving that day was the liquor store delivery truck.  :)  Even the mail man didn't deliver that day.

Thanks for reminding me of that day. It's a nice memory.

I mention that storm a lot when people say that there probably won't be any more big snow falls this late in the season. 

You're the second person that reminded me to get a missing part for my snow blower.  I should tie a string around my finger or something.  It's funny how it looks beautiful outside right now.

My lawn mower broke down late last fall and I was going to take it in during the winter to get fixed.  Of course it's in the garage still broken and my garage door only has about one good open left in it.  I'm in the same boat.  ;)

What I have noticed about all the pictures and slideshows is that everyone is friends, always smiling and having fun. Not a sour puss in the bunch.
