She sent a card for my birthday (next week) and in the same envelope sent a anniversary card for us. In my birthday card was a nice crisp $1.00 bill. In the anniversary card was 3 nice crisp $1.00 bills. She cracks me up! My wife and her kids always get nice crisp $1.00 bills from her every year.

$8 for ice cream??!!  Maybe I'd better start doing some re-thinking!  Still thinking about heading down there - hopefully this Spring yet.

Hi all - Happy Saint Patty's Day!

Seems that it gets rather festive there for the holiday?  We don't have that here - the highlight of St. Patty's Day here is all the DUI check points.  Serious.

Now Cinco de Mayo is another story - at least in my 'hood... you can party like a rockstar and run the risk of being shot all in one night out in the streets infront of your own home.

Drink a Green one for me will ya?  I am sick on the couch for day 4 with a nasty cold.

Just got back from the Mobile "son's of st. patrick's day parade"

I've got 2 wal-mart bags full of beads...and other throws....we sat at a little pub on their patio....57 degrees and they thought we was nuts to be outside waiting for the parade...hahaha!!!!

(tonight we will have about 20 people in this house for an cornbeef party)

but I wanted to share with everybody another Irish toast...
