that was a fun night... on my 21st, i went to vegas with my family, but the night before, me and Shaggs drank a bottle and a half of rootbeer schnaaps, and then went to see Monster Trucks at the big inflatable toilet... we were somehow able to purchase more drinks, once we got there, and werent carded... and actually got drunk enough, and loud enough, that they threw us out.... we were TOO ROWDY, at a MONSTER TRUCK SHOW!!!! how crazy is that???
We ended up walking halfway around the dome, to where they had all the smokers outside, and we went back in the smoking entrance, to some different seats, had more to drink, and got thrown out a second time...
real fun night... although stuff like that will NEVER happen again...
I loved that movie!! The acting wasn't the best at times but the screen play was awesome! I love thrillers that kick my ass in the end. And it was all filmed in only 18 days!
Fat Albert: OK I guess. Good movie to watch with the kid. Kinda cool that Cosby had the actual real life characters in the final scene. P.S. - Bill, it's OK not to have all the friends in the world bud. Plus Mush Mouth hates you.
Saw: Excellent thriller. Great story line and awesome ending. Acting could have been a bit better.
Alfie: Actually more of a guy movie than a chick flick. Puts things in perspective for us beautiful single guys. (a dude can dream can't he?)  Either way, Susan Sarandon is HOTTTTT!
oookkkkkk listen up! The m&m is SICK! Don't type so loud ;)
I wanted terribly to go out last night, I had my coat on when I talked with both Kitch and Muck. Mark was proud of me for not going out when I felt like $#!^. Earlier yesterday I went in to work and then over for a huge meeting in the afternoon. (will tell about it in my thread later) ---And everyone knows that no-one cares when mom is sick...sooooo then I walked over to the Science Museum with Whitney. I actually couldn't keep my eyes open during the Mars 3D show. I then went to the grocery store to get food for Easter cause the world doesnt stop when mom is SICK. then went to Blockbuster to get movies to hold everyone over while mom is SICK...Whitney asked me, "how many we could get"....me being sick -I was NOT specific enough when I blurted out "as many as we want to see" ---oooops-...she comes back with a stack of 10 movies!!!!! we got 3. I picked up Mark from work and went right home---I tried so hard to pull myself together to go back out. I took Nyquil and up to bed right after I talked to Kitch. woke up about 1ish to a Fear Factor repeat and hearing Mark snoring down on the sofa in the livingroom!....went to shake him, turn off tv, took another Nyquil tablet and back to bed. Took Mark into work thismorning cause remember, life does NOT stop when MOM is SICK! ... still gotta get goodies for easter baskets at Target and I had promised the girls and a neighbor I would take them to see The Ring 2. Took a Dayquil...computer problems I can not explain!!! grrrrrrrrrrrrr -looking for a new computer ASAP. ....and gotta get the house cleaned for family tomorrow.
Kitch -your funny, I was thinking you may avoid my mom (in the pink cowboy hat hahaha) ---but yeah, you could get a lot outa her about me. She is a gabber to say the least. Hope you had a great time without me. Sorry I couldn't drag my butt out.
This excellent-value German riesling is just the thing for your Easter table. It's off-dry (just fruity enough) and light with notes of green apple, pear, and citrus. It's delicate and very refreshing with a "just right" acidic note. The subtly sweet character is a perfect compliment to glazed HAM.
2003 Villa Maria Marlborough Private Bin Riesling
This dry riesling hails from the south island of New Zealand and exhibits notes of lime, mineral, and spring blossoms on the nose and bright notes of lime, wet stone, and pear on the palate. Pairs great with a saltier style country HAM.
2003 Huntington Earthquake Sauvignon Blanc -
This crisp, dry, citrusy sauvignon blanc from Sonoma County is the perfect foil for fresh spring asparagus and salt-cured HAM.
2002 L de Lyeth Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon
This medium-bodied cabernet sauvignon is an outstanding wine for the price. It exhibits notes of blackberry and subtle vanillin on the nose and rich notes of cassis, plum, and dark chocolate on the palate. A great wine for a large crowd on Easter. A very nice compliment to leg of LAMB.
2002 Pavilion Napa Valley Merlot -
This is one of the best merlots that we've encountered in a while. Especially for the price! This rich, medium-bodied merlot has rich raspberry, blueberry, and vanilla on the nose and expressive blackberry, blueberry, and milk chocolate on the palate. Smooth... Try with a simple roasted leg of LAMB.
since I was looking ...I thought I'd share...
funny...I'm not having HAM or LAMB this year...making fresh GULF SHRIMP.
btw...you sound really sexy on the phone with your voice like that................maybe not.....just a little to sick sounding...but I liked the raspyness....
I almost rented SAW- the cover scared me - I probly will give it a try- but need someone to watch it with that I can curl up with during the creepy parts.
I picked up: Little Black Book, Without a Paddle? and Wicker Park
