Interview went good they do all the hiring for Best Buy, they do not have any graphic openings right now but I might be able to get a foot in the door by working in there shipping and receiving dept.=)

Thanks all for the well wishes.  I'm hanging out numb during this waiting game for my results.  I called the doc twice and found out she's left for the day.  I refused to get off the line until they assured me that someone would call me with the results tonight like was promised.  I'd hate to have my fricken brain results sitting on some damn fax machine all night as I worry myself into a coma.

If they don't call back in 20 minutes, this cat is hightailing it to the clinic and not leaving until I get something.  They're open until 7 anyway.  Please cross fingers for this old worry wart.  Thanks again.  You guys are fantastic as usual.

 

 

Sometimes it takes constant bugging to get the answers you need.  You would think that Doctors understand the worry that comes from things like this and would hurry things along....Keep strong CM!!!! We are here for you!!

Sorry to hear the news 3M

So the latest news of the in-laws....

We heard from Inks' Mom and brother tonight again. My father-in-law is being moved to a care facility attached to the hospital probably tomorrow and he will share a room with his wife so she can be there to hold his hand and be with him while he rehabs. She is quite happy about that and feels she will be doing good things by being there as he hasn't had much experience with hospitals and all that most of his life.

For us...we are thrilled that Richard got that worked out!!!!!!!!

I guess they also bought a lift chair for when he comes home and a riser for the toilet. Inks' brother had called here to ask about that sort of thing the other day as he knows we have dealt with that for quite awhile.

We had planned on going north this weekend, but it seems Inks' aunt that helped raise the kids when they were little and at least one of her kids are planning on being in Willmar Saturday to see the folks and they thought it would be nice if we could be there too. We haven't seen them in a very long time so I guess we will head west.

Mikey - sorry to hear of your unhappy news. Prayers and good thoughts for a good recovery.

CM-Seems like your brain is functioning pretty well according to that post. Sorry to hear about your head aches and hope they find nothing. But then you'll still have the head aches : (. Better than the alternative though. I didn't mean to give ya a scare. I sure hope I see that everthing was fine soon. It's the next morning now, and I'm hoping you just forgot to post with the results...

Thanks every one for the well wishes. I'm trying to keep a positive outlook and my outlook is better today than yesterday. I've been hearing a lot of recovery stories since yesterday, and it has really helped my outlook on things.

Well I was given good news and some bad news.  But it was mostly good considering the alternative.  They found a cyst on my brain but said it wasn't near where my pain was so they have to look into it more.  The neurologist said that it could be incidental and not be anything but might need to do more tests.  At this point I'm waiting for the Doc to get back to me with what her interpretation is of the results.  She was nice enough to call me from home last night and talk with me about what the lab talked her about.  She says she feels good because there isn't any signs of clotting, anyurism or bleeding.  She said that my cyst was benign but I don't know how they can determine that without first conducting a biopsy.  I'll take her word for it I guess.

I'm scheduled to go in and have tests taken on my blood pressure since that was 'through the roof' as they said.  Plus meet with my doc about what she found out about the results.  But at fist glance things seem to be OK.  With one exception as 3M pointed out.  MY HEAD IS FRICKEN KILLING ME!!  I took some Percoset and a couple of muscle relaxants last night and it didn't do anything for pain.  Just masked it.  And now I'm groggy as hell at work.  Doc says to take a week off but I have so much shit to do.  But sitting here is making it even worse since the 800mg Ibuprofen pills aren't doing shit anymore.  I need to just lay back and veg.

One last thing I'm hoping for it to see if my previous MRI from 7 years ago shows that same cyst.  If it does I'm good to go as far as that damn thing.  But I'm still going to need to get something for my blood pressure.  Damn, gettin old sucks sometimes.

Thats a very managable problem. I'm very glad to hear that the mri came out ok CM. You really had me/us worried. I'm hoping that whatever is causing the headaches turns out to be minor and that you caught it early enough to deal with whatever it is. Good Luck! Thats a ton of bricks lifted off me.

CM - Really thankful the MRI looked good. Wish the headaches would go away. Pain causes blood pressure to go up on top of what must be a tendancy for you to run high. Medication can control that though.

My mother-in-law has been treated for high blood pressure most of her adult life. All of her sisters too...and Inks. It's a family trait I guess - at least in that family.
