This one headache has been nonstop for over 9 days now and not letting up at all.  It's killing me.  My doc was supposed to make an appointment for me to see a neurologist but she hasn't yet and she's now out until next Monday!  Bullshit!  This dudes going down there tomorrow to get something done.  I'm not gonna wait for another week I tells you.

At least it's not getting worse like it was before.  But it sure would be nice if it lost even a little of the potency.  I hope these blood pressure meds help after awhile.  Damn!

Hi everybody!  Happy belated Birthday to 3M and G!

Sorry to hear about all the stuff going on in here.  I'm prayin for ya all. 

CM!!!  I've just gone through 12 days of the worst headache in my life!  The pressure in my head was horrible, it permiated into my eyes, jaw, ears, neck and back.  I finally drank two beers, took a drug called Lorazepam (1mg) and stayed in bed nearly 24 hours after a neck & head massage.  I turned off the news and unplugged the phone.  The headache is almost gone.  PLEASE go get a massage!  Stress could really be a component of your troubles.  And, lets go to Jamaica!  Hehe.  Ya mon, no problem.  ;-P  (oh, and worrying makes a headache worse dummy :)

That's what many people are saying knowing some of the things that are going on with me right now.  I still can't seem to relax even though my Dr. says to.  Too much shot going on.  You know what's kinda funny?  The last time I was truly relaxed was when I did a few days in jail for some traffic citations.  After I got over the paranoia about someone messing with my car, I was totally relaxed.  Nice.  Sad but nice.  Thanks for the Jamaica offer.  My sandals are on babe.  ;-)

I just went to the doctor today and got perscribed Lorazepam for anxiety that leads to me to an upset stomach. Hopefully it works as well for me too.

the massage is a really good idea to try. See if you can try a chiropractor or maybe your insurance will cover accupunture (hospitals have new age medicine stuff now)

Mikey, I can't even begin to tell you what I feel for your almost b-i-l and sister/sister-i-l.  My heart and prayers go out to them.

Ter, you and Inks keep on plugging away.  Sounds like a horrible situation's kind'a otay.  If those things ever can be.  Thinking o'you!

I was prescribed Lorazapam six months ago.  I only use it when I wigout, and then only 1/4 to 1/2 to just calm me down.  The full pill makes me too goofy.  I go weeks when I don't take any; then sometimes I have to take 1/4 to 1/2 daily.  It's good.  Calms you, but you can still function during the bad stuff, even if you wanna go hide and can't.  I was also prescribed Ambien at the same time.  Those, too, I take infrequently...  Only when the monsters keep me awake or the nightmares come.

Ittiz all cyclical.  Stress up, panic/twit out, nightmares.  Gotta break the cycle.  The good sleep helps with the stress, which then helps with twiting out.  I'm glad you guys aren't being heroic and know when/how to get help.

I love you all.  I'm with you in my thoughts.  You guys all hang in there.

You should try the massage CM. Two thumbs pushing up the back of the neck at the base of the skull sometimes will make a headache go away instantly, at least for a short time. Works for me. Have someone do it for you, or try it yourself if you have to. Hold pressure for 10 seconds.

do they still have that place on snelling ??.....I heard they did nice massages...

he's supposed to be landing in dallas at around 11 am, and arriving at msp at 525 this afternoon. as near as i can tell, that's nwa flight 3650 or american flight 3729, for anyone who's interested in going to the airport to meet him.

he's hoping to catch an earlier flight from there. both of those flights are operated by the respective airlines' regional carriers, which increases the odds. however, looking at their schedules, the only earlier flights he could catch are directly operated by nwa or aa, so i'm guessing that 525 will be the time.

Thanks all I went to school after the interview and was talking to one of my old teachers she told me it took her almost a year to find a job in the feild after she finnished school and to keep pluging away. I am to the point now where I am going to grab any job just to pay some bill's, and just keep sending my resumy and working on my Illustration skills.

Massages- I used to get them all the time at my old work.  They had a masseuse that was on-site daily.  I gotta see if my coverage will pay for a few visits or even the acupuncture.  Something's gotta work here.  At least I get to see a neurologist tomorrow morning.  Finally!
