my proudest directional moment though was in Como on clue 12 of the 'vulture' hunt. Telling people to go North from near the Dutch Oven. I couldn't beleive all of the people who went West.
Does anyone happen to know anything about the Dutch Oven? Like when it was built there -I am guessing the WPA did it. But what was the purpose of it? It is in the middle of a wooded area.
Location of the Winter Carnival Medallion 2003. Como Park has been the home of six medallions in 1956, 1965, 1980, 1990, 1997, 2001, and 2003. The 2003 medallion was frozen in a chunk of ice under fallen timber and leaves in a wooded area north of the dirt bike course and Dutch oven My son and his friends once again almost found the Medallion. Looking for the Medallion is almost a St. Paul sub-culture.

Just thought that I would pop in here and thank you all for sharing with me the highlights of this Special Guys trip home...every one of our guys and girls deserve the love and hugs that was evident at the airport......
I am a Military wife, albeit Navy and Canadian, here on the east coast, but i found this site purely by accident and have stayed and watched with interest the developements of Zephy and his co -horts...I have enjoyed it totally.....
Mr Zephy.....Bravo Zulu, and welcome home!
Mrs Zephy....YOU are a hero too......
All to often the ones at home are forgotten for their roles of support and keeping the home fires burning and stoked!...
As military family member, we are tasked with holding down the fort, being brave and strong....when inside we just want to curl up into a ball and hide....The home comings are the best....
Hugs & Love to you both as you enjoy the days ahead.....
Â
and again thank you.....the pix and clips were wonderful although at times hard to see.....I was in tears!.......what a great bunch of supporters you all are!
HOLY CROW. Did you see THAT? That Eastern Lady persona! Wow!
Eastern Lady, THANK YOU so MUCH for stopping by, joining us, sharing with us, being a part o'us! THANK YOU! That was really nice of you. I am glad your day, too, was brightened a bit. Yes, Mrs. Zephy's a heroine in her own right. I'm glad she's got her fam - both blood ones, and the nutty Cooler Crew ones - to be with her.Â
Any ol time you wanna come in here and join us, you do just that. We'd love to have you. Never know... We might get YOU hunting The Medallion from afar!
