Digger...  Oh.  It reminds me o'rain, broken glass, night, pain, and death.  BUT!  Now that you've explained what ittiz, I can *see* the veins!  I think I'd like it better - well...  KNOW I would - if the colours were more normal/usual.  LOVE the idea.  And, this is your first 'close up,' isn't it?  GOOD JOB!  (More I look at it, knowing what ittiz, the more I like it.)  LOVE the water drops that magnify.  They're wonderful.

Met Zeyphy!  He looks XCACTLY like Carboard Zephy!  I'm ssssoooo glad a bunch o'us were there to welcome home a hero.  Since he was the only one, there wasn't like a huge turnout o'peeps (which reminds me, I've got some getting hard I need to get to...).  He deserved a hero's welcome and I'm glad there was a bunch o'us there to give him one.

I cried buckets and buckets and buckets.  It was ssssssssooooooo beautiful looking at him and Mrs. Zephy hugging and crying.  I just lost it.  I cried the most after those two!  ("What's new, green?")  I'm so damn thankful I was there.  After hugging him, I shook his hand and welcomed home in an appropriate, 'adult', hero kind'a welcome.

I'm so damn proud of that man.  My chest just wants to burst.  He had on his camo fatigues.  Sandy/brown.  And his little Sargent's hat; and the coolerest boots you ever wanna see!  Really neat.  He looked - and carried himself, and acted - every single bit the hero he is.  I'm SO PROUD O'YOU, ZEPHY!!!

It was well worth missing class for.

Geocached my widdo heart out yesterday and did nothing but get dizzy, Etch-O-Sketch the background outta my GPSr with my wanderings, break a bead, get a thorn in my thumb, and a blister on my foot as I didn't have on my tennies.  I don't know HOW many times my GPSr said "Nearing Destination"!  But I never did find that damn cache...  I'd go out today, but ittiz so cloudy I doubt I get good readings.  Bummer.

Hope everbuddy has a decent day...  At least we all have each other.

I didn't know a thang about Zephy getting in until I checked in here yesterday.  Glad I did.  But we'd been forewarned it would come down to that.  Sos, I just reacted and drove like the proverbial bat (found out on the way home that 7th's speed limit is NOT the 45 or so I was doing, but 35!!!) to get there in time.  But I made it!  :D

It was really way super nice.  I'm so thankful I was allowed to be a part o'it.  Mr.Mikey, Ares, maybee even RedBear and Me2, too, took pics.  Mr.Mikey took a movie!  I bet he'd bee happy to let folks look at it...  Mr.Mikey made signs and gave us that didn't have one one (like moi).  And there were signs all over the place.  Chesty, her daughts, Mrs. Zephy and fam were muy busy all day yesterday making neat, pretty signs.

It was great.  Yup.  It was really nice.

Sky-watchers from the South Pacific to the Americas will witness the first solar eclipse of 2005 on Friday when the moon blots out part of the sun.

It will be a partial eclipse rather than a total one, in which the Earth is cast into darkness. But it will be the last partial solar eclipse visible from the continental United States until May 20, 2012.
Solar eclipses occur when the Earth, sun and moon line up in such a way that the moon casts a shadow over Earth.
Friday's eclipse will last from a few minutes to over an hour, depending on one's location. In much of the continental United States, people will see what looks like the moon taking a bite out of the sun, with the bite bigger over the South.

I went in to see a Neurologist today and he decided that it was in my best interest to get a cranial angiogram to check out the blood vessels in my brain.  It was kinda scary with what he was thinking could be wrong at this point but I also have to keep in mind that he's seen bad stuff even happen to small issues.  I'm holding as positive as I can but getting this is keeping it hard to stay that way.

CM - I'm glad the neurologist is checking everything out. I know the whole thing is a tad bit scary, but then the headache itself is scary so you might as well get the full check up.

That's the way I'm looking at it.  At my age it's probably a good idea to get stuff like this done anyway.  Only the HMO's won't usually pay for them if it's voluntary.  We've had this awesome coverage for about a month and I've definitely taken advantage of it.  No choice of mine of course.

At least you have the coverage when you really need it.

Botox, I R fine.  Can't complain.  A bit stressed, but not like or as bad as some o'my good fiends...  80-117 folks here outta a job come tomorrow.  Folks walking around looking glum, some crying...  I'm blessed that I never fell under the unemployed umbrella.  Monday I start a new job.

But, there's still stress.  Loss of job/samness; change; worrying about fiends here at work and also in The Cooler; nervous about new job; life issues....  It's not the best week I've ever had.  But then, I've had much worse, too.

I'm just glad to be alive, fairly secure (got new job jitters, BIG TIME!), and the sun came up today.  That's as far as I can think.
