If I don't get some action going with 'caching, maybee I'll go find the Big Boys In Blue.
See iffin' they wants their poles polished. WHOOPS! Thass the firemans! Wrong Big Boys.
Well... I *could* feign some serious injury or sudden affliction and they could give me CPR!!!!  But then I'd have do-nut glaze all over my face! YUCK!Â
Etch-O-Sketched all around the cache site and never found it. As the saying goes, "I got spanked." Me thinks His Royal Highness has sumpin' gonin' on this particular cache. I gotta noodle it...
Hey all - I have two tickets available for tonight's 8:00 performance of the Frank Sinatra tribute entitled My Way at the McKnight theater in the Ordway by Rice Park in downtown. They're over $40 each and yours free for the taken if you wanna go out tonight. I even have a free parking pass for you. First person to E-gram me gets em! Good luck.
We've been given our checks. Don't gots to come in tomorrow... One more box and my GREEN ra-did-ee-oh, and I'm outta here. Gotta stay until 4:00ish as I'd made plans to be somewhere/pick something up at 4:30PM, so no use me pulling outta here early.
God. The woman that was my Secret Santa this year... She gave me a Puss In Boots and Donkey to go with my talking Shrek... And I kept all the Shrek stickers she put on the packages... And she gave me CHEESE!!!
She just said good-bye as she'd heard I wasn't going to be in tomorrow...
I'm ballin' my head off. This hurts way more than I thought it would.
what the heck? Those Minneapolitans are hiding their Golden Ticket in our St. Paul Parks? They don't have one park in their neck of the woods worthy I guess....
I couldn't find this, but Joelcam posted it on the MNGCA forums, said he got it off the twin's website:
MINNEAPOLIS -- The back-to-back-to-back American League Central Division Champion Minnesota Twins and the StarTribune have announced that the "Golden Twins Ticket" was found on Wednesday afternoon. Chris Nelson of St. Paul found the "Golden Twins Ticket" at Marydale Park in St. Paul.
Beginning on Sunday, April 3, there were clues posted each day in the StarTribune as to the whereabouts of the "Golden Twins Ticket". There were clues planned to appear in the StarTribune each day through Friday, April 8, giving fans a hint as to where the "Golden Twins Ticket" may be located.
By virtue of finding the "Golden Twins Ticket", Nelson will receive a prize package including: two (2) 2005 Twins MVP Plans (41 game package), the opportunity to throw out the first pitch at a 2005 Twins game, VIP tickets for four (4) and a chance to meet manager Ron Gardenhire, an MLT Worry-Free Vacation package for two (2) to Las Vegas, an authentic Twins jersey and gift bag, autographed Twins items, and a StarTribune prize package.
Yeah.. thats cause they started calling it the "Twin Cities" Star Tribune, rather than the Minneapolis star tribune, a couple summers back... I was workin there when they switched over... all the people that I called to sell subscriptions to, would be "is that the same as the minneapolis paper" and then after you said yes, they'd just to be funny, say - "Ohhhh.... you dont have bulletin board, do you?" before hanging up on you.
hahaha - BB and the hunt were my 2 favorites from the PP.
Chris Nelson of St. Paul found the "Golden Twins Ticket" at Marydale Park in St. Paul.
WoW! I remember him winning before. How many clues did this hunt go? Does anyone know if the clues are posted online? We all know this park well enough to see if they point there good enough.
Who says lightning never strikes twice? Bonnie West, a fifty-seven-year-old yoga instructor and writer who's written for Mpls.St.Paul and other publications, unearthed the Twins' "Golden Ticket" two years in a row. The shrewd scavenger found the ticket through a series of ...
Chris Nelson has won before-I know it cause I knew a guy by the name in highschool -I think this Chris may be a woman though not sure. Check it out but I think this person was the one that found it in Pearl Park.
I don't think the Star Tribune advertises it much, if they did, it'd make it easier for people to get out and find it. I'd haveta agree with Kitch, I think it's rigged somehow.
you mean we are a group of hunters who didnt know there was a hunt and couldnt find the clues.....we have a few months to get our act in gear for the winter carnival:):):):):)

I knew there was a hunt...Kinda didn't care since I know its rigged...but I couldn't find the clues online...
plus I thought I'd have to drive into that big city.
whats the point of rigging it, if its not that popular anyways...
i'd think if they were going to have a "set-up" they'd advertise it around first,(whereas, you hardly hear anything about this one at all) to make people aware, that way everyone that doesnt find it gets pissed, and is more determined next time around.
Not a bad contest. You win season tickets and a trip for two to Las Vegas among other prizes. Official jersey. I think it was hidden at a park near TC's house a couple of years ago. I kind of remember following the clues.
If anyone's interested here are the clues that were published.
Clue 1: To find the Golden Ticket you will start from our home plate. Everyone is searching so don't dare hesitate. A 70's band you did enjoy regardless of the season. They pound the drums and the guitar singing, "Never Been Any Reason".
Clue 2: Can she sing? Can she act? We'll leave it up to you. This Britney flick she was the star and this my friend is true.
Clue 3: Orthodontics to the north, you will hear a whistle. Handles merge to form this place and don't step on a thistle.
Clue 4: To the south you see ripples and the street is quite fragrant. Of all of the clues you've had thus far this one is quite flagrant.
Met a friend after work tonight for some margaritas. I'm in no shape to be going anywhere but to bed. Sure feels good to be so relaxed.
Green - you know all the best is wished for you in the new job on Monday.
CM - If I could somehow find a way to get that headache out of your head, I would do it in a heart beat. Hopefully everything will be A-OK with the testing.

I think I'm shut down for the weekend. A member of my extended family is on life support and I may have to go out of town. Another member is in same hospital with liver and colon cancer. Sheesh. I'm gonna try to make it there tomorrow to say goodbye...
I don't know what's going on around here, seems like a dark cloud is moving through. But, that also means sunshine ahead...Â

I'm still amazed they had the guts to use a St. Paul park...
hehe....I think it is sad that it could be rigged....whats the fun in that?
Dont you work in MPLS kitch?
whats the point of rigging it, if its not that popular anyways...

Mendota Heights...feels like I'm in the sticks compared to downtown
Isn't that last years news? I didn't think they even had a hunt this year.
but I couldn't find a single thing...
Me neither
diggin 4 it told me it was going on...and then she never posted anything...she said it started Sat. or Sun.
it's probably one clue, telling you where to go pick up the ticket at, they print it in tiny font and hide it in their paper somewhere...
considering most people dont even read the actual paper anymore....isnt that what the internet is for?

Hope this works
Hmmm. Looks like it doesn't. Maybe someone smarter than I am can make it work. Anyway, it talks about the contest and gives the first clue.
