thanks for sharing them, mikey. It was sweet to see the real Zephy. I hope he's having a memorable time here. I cannot imagine how hard it will be to have to leave again. Maybe we can send cardboard Zeph in his stead- do you think anyone will notice?
We discussed Cardboard Zephy going back in Zephy Zephy's stead. We figured it would work until DFW when he'd have to change planes to go to 'other places.'Â
I don't want to think o'Zephy going back. So not gonna.
Was a national deal.. nothing I could do to help. It was pretty much cleared up when I got in last night. If it makes you feel any better I was suffering right along with you before I got in.
Call Denver and yell at them. :)
On the bright side... Voice over IP is on it's way :) More to come.
April 8, 2005 - (HOSTSEARCH.COM) - As reported by CNET, Comcast, the largest provider of broadband Internet access with 6.5 million customers, suffered a general outage Thursday evening.
At 5:32 EDT, the company’s help page on its Web site had a notice that "connection to the Internet is currently unavailable. Our technicians are aware of the situation and are working to resolve the issue.” It was not clear whether all customers were affected or if the outage was regional, although the notice was posted under "general outage."
About an hour later, a notice was posted stating that the outage was resolved. And about three hours later, the company posted a message stating that “scheduled maintenance” had been completed.
course it seems like every so often in the late evenings (early mornings) my connection drops totally, and I can't get a new IP address for various periods of time, usually between 15 minutes and a couple hours. I just figure they're doing maintennance or something.
well as posted in the comcast help forums and talking to a techie here at work there is/was a workaround you just change your dns server the help forums were posting verizons servers but there are many you can use i guess i could even use the dns server work uses. well im ready if it happens again

HONG KONG (Reuters) - A Hong Kong hiker washed her face in a freshwater stream, not noticing that leech had wormed its way into one of her nostrils, according to the Hong Kong Medical Journal.
Unaware she was playing host to the creature, the 55-year-old woman only consulted a doctor when her nose started bleeding intermittently about two weeks later.
The unusual case occurred in 2003 but doctors highlighted it in this month's edition of the journal, where they discussed how to remove live leeches from human nasal passages using anesthesia.
The first doctor the woman saw could not find anything wrong and it was only when she visited a second doctor that he saw the five-centimeter (two-inch) leech peeking out of her left nostril.
According to the article, doctors only managed to remove the stubborn bloodsucker with forceps after applying anesthesia to the woman's nose.
"Direct removal of a live leech might be difficult because of its powerful attachment to the mucosa and its slimy and mobile body," the journal said.
I just watched Dawn of the Dead #2 thismorning- Highly recommend it! I love Dr. Pratt from ER! I had to take a pee for the last hour of the movie (too much coffee)and couldnt bring myself to leaving the tv.
I did have trouble eating my cereal afterwards though-my tummy was turning-only finished 1/2 a bowl.
Watched Open Water last night - Boring yet good ending.
I'm watching Hero right now - Lame story line but the awesome fight scenes and some of the best cinematography I've ever seen, more than make up for it. Eye candy to say the least.

Leeches are very kind beings. ...Unless you confuse them with bloodsuckers. ...Which do not suck blood at all- They excrete an acid that breaks down the skin around gangrenous wounds. That's what they eat. Turtle leeches, however- issue a sting so powerful a simple bite will render a major muscle paralised, while the creature rests, and can then begin eating the flesh. Horse leeches.... MY GOD! how twisted am I to know so much about leeches?
hmmm...reports now saying she was held against her will....
For 10 years? Another brainwashing defense? Sounds like Elizabeth Smart case. Or Patty Hurst...

Let's Fall In Love
My emotions
Drift away
I think about it
But it's alright
It's alright
It's alright
It's alright
It's alright now
My emotions
Drift away
I think about it
Every single day
Do I regret it
Well I say
That it's alright
It's alright
It's alright
It's alright
Out in space
There's a feeling that runs through your viens
One that has no time, no space
Taking you high
So that you can't deny it
That's when you're in love
(Taking you high
So that you can't deny it
That's when youre in love)
