I'd have to agree with Kitch on this one, loads a little slow, but that's expected with animated graphics. I suppose it depends on the application.

Interesting night here at the Andersons.

After 4 nights with the new room& sweet chair- Dan did a bit of "dumpster diving" of his own, and brought home a really sweet -super gross lounge chair.

He gets kudos for finding it in an Edina alley- So it probably cost the original owner $98,000,000,000,000.00

I just need a butt-load of resolve.

The other thing is- James (the boy) came home from some stupid award ceremony and plopped on my table a medal that proclaims him as the 2nd best trombone player in the state. ...Then he bitches at me about hounding him to practice......

If I were you I would pray for the sobriety of the photographers at tomorrow's school.

Or do something else.

a really sweet -super gross lounge chair

AWESOME!! Did he claim it to be your Mothers Day gift as well?

HA KT! The NERVE of that kid! That is cool! Congratulations to the meanie parents!

No mother's day gift.... Dan will either bring me a shriveled flower from SA, or a plantable thing on Monday.

...Unless he brings me some birch firewood....
I know- damn that kid....
Dan may think that cleaning the really gross chair is a gift.... I never know what Dan thinks.
I've tried- he always seems to stun my thoughts.
What's a Chick to do?

So- I'm kinda psyched about James.
But I really DON'T like this chair in my....err- Dan's new room.

James won't let me be happy.
....But I cannot help being narcissistic. ...Or something spelled like that.

I think if I took pictures of kids all day I'd drink too. No offense KT, but your job would make me into (more of) a madman. =)

What's a Chick to do?

On Mothers Day...sit in THE chair...prop your feet up and demand a beer///oh yeah...scratch your butt and burp when you tell him "your damn right your greatful, I did my job when I gave birth to them" when he thanks you for having his children.

I know where you went-
You were attending investment seminars with Dennis.

geeze- you would think that after 2797 posts I'd have something worthwhile to say.

or not

Wed, 05/04/2005 - 9:49 PM Permalink

I will NOT burp while I scratch my butt.

Butt-scratching is best left to others.

No offense taken, Mr Frosti. I was mad when I took the job- now I'm just insane.
Moreso than the average person.

Sorry about the working Kitch.

I hope you'll be thinking of Dan's new gross chair.
Whoever last owned it not only paid the price previously mentioned, but they used some sort of waxy substance in their hair (or shoulders) that hardens over time. EEEwwww. ICK.
I'm not gonna think about that right now.

FWIW- It IS a REALLY comfy chair. (when you cover it with sheets after spraying it with lysol) ...(...just in case)

Sounds like its best left to the person who previously owned a crusty-gross chair OR Al Bundy ;)

Cinco de mayo, blowout, denial
It wasn't fun this time, letting you go
What if I never, a bullet forever,
Held out my hand to you?
We wouldn't have known beautiful flow

Absolute measure, I ain't no pleasure hound
Bus out of control, ploughing the road
Out on a bender
Just Alice falling down a deepening hole

I'd never been to Rome until you smiled
You're about as old and piled

Used to pray for snow
Now I just wonder
What spell I was under
Thinking you thought of me as something to hold

I'd never been to Rome until you smiled
You're about as old and piled

Cinco de mayo, burn-out Ohio
It wasn't me this time letting you go

OMG-is that the way the song really goes????

Just
Alice
falling down a deepening hole

Cinco de mayo, burn-out
Ohio

Ohio and Alice cross right above the Ohio hill where Cinco De Mayo begins!!!
I know--I live here!

I saw those lyrics and thought better than to post them.  Nice going Frosti.  We're all depressed now.

Now you're making me have to go out and drown my sorrows in a nice big pitcher of beer.  Thanks. Thanks a lot.

Mothers

This is for the mothers who have sat up all night with sick toddlers in their arms, wiping up barf laced with Oscar Mayer wieners and cherry
Kool-Aid saying, "It's okay honey, Mommy's here."

Who have sat in rocking chairs for hours on end soothing crying babies who can't be comforted.

This is for all the mothers who show up at work with spit-up in their hair and milk stains on their blouses and diapers in their purse.

For all the mothers who run carpools and make cookies and sew Halloween costumes. And all the mothers who DON'T.

This is for the mothers who gave birth to babies they'll never see.
And the mothers who took those babies and gave them homes.

This is for the mothers whose priceless art collections are hanging on their refrigerator doors. And for all the mothers who froze their buns on metal bleachers at football or soccer games instead of watching from the warmth of their cars, so that when their kids asked, "Did you see me, Mom?" they could say, "Of course, I wouldn't have missed it for the world," and mean it.

This is for all the mothers who go hungry, so their children can eat. For all the mothers who read "Goodnight, Moon" twice a night for a year. And then read it again. "Just one more time "

This is for all the mothers who taught their children to tie their shoelaces before they started school. And for all the mothers who opted for Velcro instead.

This is for all the mothers who teach their sons to cook and their daughters to sink a jump shot.

This is for every mother whose head turns automatically when a little voice calls "Mom?" in a crowd, even though they know their own offspring are at home -- or even away at college.

This is for all the mothers who sent their kids to school with stomach aches assuring them they'd be just FINE once they got there, only to get calls from the school nurse an hour later asking them to please pick them up. Right away!

This is for mothers whose children have gone astray, who can't find the words to reach them.

This is for all the step-mothers who raised another woman's child or children, and gave their time, attention, and love... sometimes totally unappreciated!

For all the mothers who bite their lips until they bleed when their 14 year olds dye their hair green. (or blue!)

For all the mothers of the victims of recent school shootings, and the mothers of those who did the shooting.

For the mothers of the survivors, and the mothers who sat in front of their TVs in horror, hugging their child who just came home from school, safely.

This is for all the mothers who taught their children to be peaceful, and now pray they come home safely from a war.

What makes a good Mother anyway? Is it patience? Compassion? Broad hips? The ability to nurse a baby, cook dinner, and sew a button on a shirt, all at the same time?

Or is it in her heart? Is it the ache you feel when you watch your son or daughter disappear down the street, walking to school alone for the very first time?

The jolt that takes you from sleep to dread, from bed to crib at 2 A.M. to put your hand on the back of a sleeping baby? The panic, years later, that comes again at 2 A.M. when you just want to hear their key in the door and know they are safe again in your home?

Or the need to flee from wherever you are and hug your child when you hear news of a fire, a car accident, a child dying?

The emotions of motherhood are universal and so our thoughts are for young mothers stumbling through diaper changes and sleep deprivation...

And mature mothers learning to let go. For working mothers and stay-at-home mothers. Single mothers and married mothers. Mothers with money, mothers without.

This is for you all. For all of us. Hang in there. In the end we can only do the best we can. Tell them every day that we love them. And pray.

You can see the choppers hovering and the plane flying around looking for those two guys who shoot him early this morning.

They are looking in the 900 block of Reaney , 7th Street and Minnehaha Ave. They are searching for two armed black males.

The first suspect is described as 25-30 years old, about 5 feet 7 inches in height. He has very short hair and was seen wearing a white shirt with black sleeves, black pants with a stripe down the side.

The second suspect is also 25-30 years old, about 6 feet tall and 160-170 pounds. He has short hair, a light colored shirt with a white T-shirt underneath and blue jeans.

Vick had a wife and children, Harrington said. He is described as a popular, decorated officer, who knew the danger of being a police officer, but loved the job.

Vick joined the St. Paul police department in 1989. In his 16-year-career with the department, he earned two medals of valor, one for saving a 1-year-old child from a fire early in his career.

His brother once said as a child Vick loved catching butterflies and as a cop, he loved catching bad guys.
