Jenny Dalton's press kits should start going out here in the next few weeks so i'm totally pumped for that. major accomplishment and chances will increase for more and better shows to be played.
we finished visiting 8 studios trying to determine whats the best, most comfortable, and affordable. i think we've definately decided which would be the ultimate best for Jenny now it's my job to get it for us and figure out how to pay for it. :)
i've been going home on the weekends needing a little comfort and feeling stressed. going back up there gives me such solice, it's hard to determine if it's just the home feeling or if i should really be living there, i love it so much!
my nephew came to visit me for lunch yesterday and that was just about the best surprise in the whole world. doesn't matter if i see him everyday or once a month i miss him the same and my sis and mom and dad. ya i'm 26 and call'em mommy and dad. that's what they are and i'm thier little girl. hehe.
musak wise. been seeing lots of good stuff and hope to see more soon. lots of good stuff coming up in july! i'm in the need of some mark mallman! more mr. serious please!
in my car i'm suffering because my cd discman cord broke and i'm broke and don't have an actual cd player in my car. radio is killing me. mainly cuz neither The Current or RadioK will come in with this weather or something. killing me!!!
leave for aussie land on june 3rd and i'm so pumped. starting to get nervous, in a good way though!! trying to determine the best packing arrangements is difficult. i'd like to just have one backpack for ease and convenience and i really think it's my only choice, so i guess i need to find that one amazing backpack that i can carry on the plane! hrm. REI?! and i need some snorkeling gear, one of those that doesn't let the water in if you go under. not sure where to get that yet?! i better get my rear in gear!
Yeah, I went out to Cali a few months back and brought a small bag and my backpack, even figuring I could fit both easily on the plane they made me check the bag.
Air travel just plain sucks these days. And somehow in my last 3 flights I've managed to get "selected" for the extra security checks every time. You'd think the system could get a bit more efficient if they kept a database of people they've already screened a couple times, so they don't waste both mine and their time every time I board a plane.
Best of luck to ya coco! Hope ya find a bag that works.
last night i had the most fun! eight awesome bands and loads of rock'in designers. there was some extreme crazy outfits and then some that you could actually wear to work or out on the town. hopefully the citypages does an awesome write up cuz i can't even think of all the incredible things i saw, i'm still on overload! :)
The bands: THE SOVIETTES, OLYMPIC HOPEFULS, MIKE GUNTHER & HIS RESTLESS SOULS, OUIJA RADIO, THE DEATHS, THE TV SOUND, THE VIOLETTES, and MELODIOUS OWL
The designers: Allison Nassif Anna Boman Elizabeth Chesney Emily Johnson Katherine Gerdes Kerry Riley Kristian Dior Gamble Kristin Thoreson Labrador Laura Fulk Lauren Schad Mackenzie LaBine Michelle Polson Molly Roark Princess Warrior Rachelle Appelle ratty kinks Rebecca Yaker and the Garda Belts Reinvintaged! Ruby3 with Studio Moto Sabertooth Sondra Mann Steven Hutton Taissa Lada
Have a fantastic time coco. Soak up all you can. You can rest when you get back home. I always wanted to climb to the top of that bridge down there. That would be awesome. And I hate heights. But doing it in Sidney seems OK for some reason.
ooooohhhh coco you are in LA? and you didn't go take the Beverly Hills tour? see the stars! Be Pretty Woman! ;) see where Freddy Krueger lived or the hotel where Moonlighting was shot. A little Melrose Place action or Beverly Hills cop ;)
rahahahahah
that's high-larious!!!
brainerd was really nice and fun. spent lots and lots of time with my mommy, i miss her so much down here.
funny about my mommy...
she owns a pink ipod and i don't even know how to use one!
Do you know how to use the blue ones? They're a little easier to understand.
;)

woohoo!
rei, sportmart (might have something), midwest mountinering(SP?), .....can't think of other spots right now ;(
gotta be careful...its its too large they will make u check it anyways....
Â
I'd suggest 2 bags...one smaller backback for carry on....and a larger backpack for check in.....(its not that hard)
then again...I'm sure you can gate check it....which would be cool...
gate checking, tricky. yet much more convenient.
after all the flights i've been on in the last few years i just hate checking my luggage. flight count over 40!

just take the shoes off and open the bag before i even get in line!
well...the last time I went...everybody had to take shoes off...
even my daugters...which kinda sucks if you got a 2 and a 4yr old...
for real though, that is just sad. but i guess necessary?!
I was just reading about drug smugglers who "rented" babies and smuggled the drugs in the diaper bags, so anything's possible!
what's sad is they keep checking the same people over and over. to quote one of my more favorite lines from a tv show "It's criminally inefficient!"
They really need to focus at least on having random security checks truely be random.
I doubt any one can make it in such short notice but if you can please do!!!!
