I havn't made it out there yet. Sorry we didn't hook up Kitch. I got caught up with housework. Now its a little chilly but I will be going out around the time of the next clue.
The first group saw an electrifying high wire act They were having a ball up in the air, that's a fact One kid noticed a sunburn, looking at her red bare skin "Me too" said another, "it's like an involuntary valentines pin" They discussed the idea from Jake of remembering his salutation Not wanting to train to give the pledge of allegiance to his Medallion Nation Passing lots of sand not in box or on beach Along the path they went, the goal more within reach
I am back from the park- It was a beautiful day for a walk- unfortunately this has truly been a lonely hunt.
I saw geese, ducks, a baby beaver, squirrels, a bunny rabbit, a snake slithered through the grass and freaked me out, and lots of turtles basking on logs in the sunshine.   Â

I get the feeling you have to go to the park to make everything fit. I don't like Mounds. It fits some things but I don't think it has a bridge you cross and some other things seem to be missing. Hidden Falls doesn't have any trains that are easily noticeable. I still think it sounds like the trail at Battle Creek between 61 and Ruth. the only thing is you have to go all the way to the Battle Creek Rec Center to see a playground and I can't think of any fire pits along there.
The other group knew the search was going down, down, down to the wire And they pressed on because their hearts burned, burned, burned with desire Tempted away by someone who wasn't a lil' man, but gigantic with a big "G" They sang "Mr. Med hunter man, to keep me from hunting you couldn't pay me" Further along they saw an unmoving show of "The Rose" on stage It and the seats for viewing it were all red like rage
Sounds like it could be Central Park in Roseville. Although I'm not familiar enough with it anymore to really put all the clues together there anymore.
Some say love, it is a river that drowns the tender reed. Some say love, it is a razor that leaves your soul to bleed. Some say love, it is a hunger, an endless aching need. I say love, it is a flower, and you its only seed.
It's the heart afraid of breaking that never learns to dance. It's the dream afraid of waking that never takes the chance. It's the one who won't be taken, who cannot seem to give, and the soul afraid of dyin' that never learns to live.
When the night has been too lonely and the road has been to long, and you think that love is only for the lucky and the strong, just remember in the winter far beneath the bitter snows lies the seed that with the sun's love in the spring becomes the rose
Just because it mentioned a rose and I think there's an amphitheater in Central Park. The clues don't seem to really be describing any of the St. Paul parks so I'm starting to think about what other parks there may be.
One of the worst parts was today I walked up to the back of it and leaned on the brick looking aroundd, I did see the pop can in the bush. I walked to the right (near where it was found) and glanced around but there were plants in flats sitting there to be planted and this woman came over to plant the flowers so I didn't want to bug her and then when I came back through there was a huge truck dumping wood chips right behind it.
Then tonight I mentioned to Kitch that that would be a fun place to hide it-and that I looked there-he says 'good girl' but I said NOT good enough and that was the first place I was gonna look in the morning when I went out there.
so then....I did wonder about the clues working there way backwards besides around the lake. It seemed like it.
I figured out the Cable Cones :) I think - the Cable Co Comcast is only a block from the park at Victoria and Co Rd C ---did I finally get it TMK? If not than I digress.
At 225 acres, Central Park is the largest park in Roseville, and one of the larger urban parks in Ramsey County. Central Park is divided into 5 areas connected by a series of walking and biking trails. Central Park features an outdoor amphitheater, picnic pavilions and a fishing dock on Bennett Lake. There are also a number of ball fields, volleyball courts, tennis courts, bocce ball courts and play areas. Central Park (Dale West) features the Harriet Alexander Nature Center, situated on a 52 acre nature preserve. Floating boardwalks provide for an exciting tour of Roseville's premier nature preserve.
The Central Park Arboretum across Dale Street from the Harriet Alexander Nature Center has 8 acres of beautiful gardens, trees, and rock landscaping with benches for contemplation and trails for strolling.
Central Park is one of the nicest park in the entire twincities ..IMHO..has a lot to offer....has winter carnival memorials for prior royality, all this prior stuff, never seen a red rocket clue?, didn't notice a bocce ball clue?, heh...but nice JOB TMK....I know Central Like the back of my hand and just didn't have enough time to look....heh...tooo much doings going on........(personal life needs to go on hold during mock life...when will my family understand this?)
Well that was fun.....I never expected to have that thing found tonight, I just had an hour to burn while my son was at scouts.Â
So I get there and start looking around and run into Jake so we are talking and checking out areas....I wander up to the flagpole Jake goes one way and I go the other he comes around the corner and finds it not 4 feet from me. The first thing I did was hit him (sorry) So Jake found it, but has offered to split the winnings with me, such a nice guy.
TMK - Great hunt, the clues were great.....can't wait to see the explainations and what I missed.
LOL
I havn't made it out there yet. Sorry we didn't hook up Kitch. I got caught up with housework. Now its a little chilly but I will be going out around the time of the next clue.

I've got some errands to run, so I'll post the clue just a bit early. I doubt it will affect too many people since it's pretty quiet here it seems.

Wait, did he ever say it was a St. Paul Park?
Hello Ollie.

Where is the clue?
It's over there.
no its over here
Clue 10
The other group knew the search was going down, down, down to the wire
And they pressed on because their hearts burned, burned, burned with desire
Tempted away by someone who wasn't a lil' man, but gigantic with a big "G"
They sang "Mr. Med hunter man, to keep me from hunting you couldn't pay me"
Further along they saw an unmoving show of "The Rose" on stage

Post it here.
Do I need to draw you a map?
Put a big "X" on there that says "Medallionate here"
Â
where the streets have no name, where the streets have no name.
We're still building then burning down love, burning down love.
Sounds like it could be Central Park in Roseville. Although I'm not familiar enough with it anymore to really put all the clues together there anymore.
Do explain Allison....

"The Rose"
Some say love, it is a river
that drowns the tender reed.
Some say love, it is a razor
that leaves your soul to bleed.
Some say love, it is a hunger,
an endless aching need.
I say love, it is a flower,

and you think that love is only
for the lucky and the strong,
just remember in the winter
far beneath the bitter snows
lies the seed that with the sun's love
in the spring becomes the rose
I know that song in sign language.
Some say love, it is a river
maybe it still is HF or BC
