Tonight they will give us that reference point and everybody can fight to the death at that point. Believe me in about 5 minutes the area will be stripped of any kind of

ice or snow.

Okay, Woodie, report back and let us poor slobs stuck at work know what you find.

JS Rose - Share your hunch with the rest of us who are not out there hunting.

At least when I'm typing on my computer it will sound like I'm working. Now I'm tempted to go back and find those two poles!!! Shouldn't be too hard to do now.

Good one, Noelle. Ha ha. I even have my transcription headphones on so it looks like I'm working. Hee hee hee.

Cuold be the poles--two flag poles SSW of where I stood last nite. Along W/ two Amaco signs, The pyrmids and hockey rinks. I hav'nt even said what one of the

basic clues let out......

Wed, 02/03/1999 - 11:41 AM Permalink
pally

I think the round and white and stretched quite tape is a roll of hockey tape.

anyone still out there? Or did you all manage to get in lunch?

Wed, 02/03/1999 - 11:49 AM Permalink

I got kicked off - that darn Web Crossing thing again! I hate that.

JS Rose, you still here? What's the deal with the basic clue you mentioned?

Wed, 02/03/1999 - 11:52 AM Permalink
CA Transplant

I think the round and white and stretched quite tight could be a balloon, but I don't think that would hold up well against the ice and snow. It could be fabric of some

sort, elastic or something. A lot of people think tape, but tape itself isn't round, the roll of tape is...I don't know, it's mind boggling. Can't wait for tonight's clue.

FOOLED YA

PIE is back from the madness!

Still can't figure nice and twice!

I knew it would come down to tonight, but even that might not work.

The damn thing probably got shuffled from one pile to the other and now is 500 yds from where the scum bag hid it!

The water fountain that is shaped like a four is easily identifiable if you are near the playground area and look straight west. I think it is worth something.

JS Rose, you still here? Tell me about what one of the basic clues let out.

Good one, quick turn. Ha ha. But, the clue says that they share the same name one as the first name and the other as the last name so that doesn't fit.

Hey, Nick. Are there any poles near the fountain?

I think the round and white, stretched quite tight. Is a baseball skin.

You fools haven't got a clue as to what the clues mean. You're just digging at Conway because that's where everyone else is digging.

Wed, 02/03/1999 - 12:22 PM Permalink

They did change the clue----I thought I was going crazy

Why would they want us all digging in that part of the park? It is all getting wrecked. There is a clue that says don't get to close to the action. I think it is in the other

part of the park away from the action.

Who here understands the line of trees---and if you do what do you think it means? I'll tell you what I think.......

What do you think, missy?

Wed, 02/03/1999 - 12:26 PM Permalink

Missy, I think the line of trees is Woodrow Street. What do you think?

Wed, 02/03/1999 - 12:26 PM Permalink

Line of trees = row... WOODROW

there is a street along the park.. WILSON

WOODROW WILSON =)

And, Missy, if it's not Conway how do you decipher clue #10?

Wed, 02/03/1999 - 12:27 PM Permalink

The line of trees is like Wood Row as in Woodrow Wilson. Wilson street is right there.

Wed, 02/03/1999 - 12:27 PM Permalink

sign-----Did they change the clue

Me still thinks it is at Conway. As for getting satellite photos, go to Microsoft's Terra Server. The link is a satellite picture of Conway taken on 17 April 1991.

Thank YOu ---I have been telling my boyfriend that forever---Two more questions---Did they change the clue??? and what red object do you think they mean???

the 3M sign or the SUN RAY sign? I HATE THIS WEB CROSSING B.S.

Did you know that there is a park named crosby down by the river that is also BING CROSBY (CROONER) BILL CROSBY (FUNNY MAN) and there are red

balls on the high wire lines so planes don't hit them. Crosby farm could be a blast from the past. But what realy bothers me is that they have not found it yet at

Conway

Wed, 02/03/1999 - 12:35 PM Permalink
CA Transplant

Missy, yes they changed the clue from Planes to Places. It was a typo, and from what people have said here one of the cooler crew had to call them at 7:45 this

morning and tell them. They didn't even know.

Dan and barbi - the comedian is Bill Cosby, and the clue says they share the same name but it's the first name of one and the last name of the other so your Crosby

thing doesn't work in this case. Come up with someone with a funny man with a first name of Crosby and you're in business - but I don't think there is such a person.

Wed, 02/03/1999 - 12:37 PM Permalink
Joe Ma Ma

dan and barbie, I have NEVER heard of a funny guy named Crosby. Bill's last name is COSBY with no R.

Wed, 02/03/1999 - 12:37 PM Permalink
pally

It's Bill Cosby, not Crosby, so that doesn't work. However, just for kicks, by Lindwood, there's a Milton street. Crooner Burl Ives, funny man Milton Berle.

Pie

What about the "TWO FROZEN PLACES OF EQUAL SIZE" how do you figure that at Conway?

Wed, 02/03/1999 - 12:39 PM Permalink
WestSide Will

dan and barbi,

Bill COSBY not CROSBY! So no go on that clue. Plus NONE of the other clues fit

Wed, 02/03/1999 - 12:39 PM Permalink
Tim Yearneau

The problem with Crosby is that the clues says the FIRST is a Crooner, Conway is Conway Twitty's first name. The clue says the LAST is a funny man, Tim

Conway's last name is Conway...in the case of Cosby, both are last names.
