We stopped at my daughter's place in Cottage Grove on our way back from the lake last night. I've never seen such an aerial display! It seems most of Cottage Grove travels across the river to purchase the Class C stuff. Non-stop all evening until well after the city sponsored ones. Were you there last night CM??

We had our own display at the lake. Once again it received rave reviews. The people on the lake in their boats were rating them 1-10. That's a new twist. Even had a few 11's.

ya know, that might be an interesting experiment with 100 feet or so of cannon fuse in a parking lot.

Ali & I went to the Taste last night OT. IGH was the same way all weekend with all the cheeseworks as well. I actually took this year off and saved a few bucks in the process. It was beginning to be a pain to find a decent place to light the big stuff off without someone complaining. My neighborhood didn't disappoint even though I had a few passerbys ask when I was gonna do my show.

I have a friend who is headed for homeless next month. She is trying to go stay with a friend in Phoenix Arizona. Does anyone have any luggage they don't use or want any more?

Also, anyone store their stuff somewhere (storage units) at a decent cost that you may recommend?

thank you in advance for any suggestions. You can egram or call me.

So I bought a six pack of Guinness to celebrate getting a good job, why is there a plastic thing in the bottle?
Tue, 07/05/2005 - 5:08 PM Permalink
KITCH

bwwwaaaah!!!!!

Its called a rocket widget it allows for a draft pour each time you tip the bottle....I would suggest that you pour the entire bottle out into a Pint glass and not drink it from the bottle!!!!!!
Tue, 07/05/2005 - 6:45 PM Permalink
KITCH

even thou it says it ok to drink from the bottle....

which is weird since a true drinker knows to wait for the head to calm...

Wicked Nick

And then break the bottle and keep the plastic thing as a souvenier.

I swear I'm falling apart in my old age. Last week it was the foot. Last two days it's a tooth ache. Had to hit the dentist this morning for a little emergency care. No fun! :frown: Hard enough getting back to work after the extra day off for the 4th without a toothache and extra hours at the dentist. Finally I can get to sleep! Nighty night all.

Is this what you're talking about ESD?

Kitch is right - pour it all out into a glass. You can hold it as high as you want and there will be no foam. Pretty cool invention. That was a scan I did after busting a bottle open like Nick suggested.

Sorry about the old age ailments 3M - Sucks gettin gold huh?

Gonna miss the old site Kitch. I was able to post one more time though.

I thought that MASH sign was already in the Smithsonian. I have a picture of it when it was on tour and came to St. Paul.

Congrats PM & OTiS. That's one big boy! Yeooch!

hmm nice, I found a site that lists all of the metro area's public service radio frequencies.

most importantly, St Paul Parks and Rec, along with the park rangers. Wonder if that'll ever come in handy?

Also ran across assigned fequencies for the winter carnival and state fair. Might have to start dragging my radio around with me more often....

I live in Cottage Grove and agree. I think part of it is the police let it go as long as you stay in your own yard and don't go too late with them. Atleast that has been my experience.

And I also grabbed this sweet 1K joe by accident!!!!
