SWEEET! jenny played awesome the weather was gorgeous and our campsite was super cozy! although our neighbors tried to steal our fire ring but TMK prevailed!
so so many cute little towns, i must admit the parts of WI i saw i liked!
Camping is fun. Sorry I missed yer b-day Kitch. Hope you had a good one.
We go camping with our ATV's. Last time out I hit a tree though. Broke the front right wheel arm. $120 in parts that will be here next week. Was fun though! Flew sideways through the air over the mud pit before I crashed. Would have made it if that tree wasn't in the way!
Matter of fact we will be picking up a new tent and such this week . I love how close it is to the river. Gives us the chance to do a little shore fishing.
Chicken liver works great for catfish in that area. My ex girlfreinds Dad owns the 2nd cabin north of there. I used to go up there all the time. If you walk to the northernmost part of the park. there is a channel in the middle of the river. Let your bait sit on the bottom in that channel and your guarenteed a large catfish. They are fun to catch! They should also bite in the small channel by the campsites.
Its probly not posted because someone found it before the 1st clue came out. That seems to be the way the trend is swaying. My schedule got turned around today so I am not heading out there as I had planned.
Hey Otis, William O'Brian is a GREAT place to camp. I've camped there many of times. They have a great facility. Another great place, that's actually a little closer is the Lino Lakes Chain of Lakes State Park up off Hwy 8. They have a great facility there too, a nice beach, lots of great fishing holes, up the road there's a beautiful nature center that you can check out, and you can go horseback riding. Just thought I'd share some info with ya
Just got off the phone with Hopkins, they are now saying that they will not post the clues online till noon. The clues will be available at 8 AM at area merchants. A few of them are Center Drug, Driscoll's Market and Midnite Markets.
"The medallion will be hidden outdoors on public property within the city. It will not be hidden more than five feet high and will be visible for all to see. Property should not be damaged during the search, and festival volunteers and their families are ineligible."
can't be too difficult to find, only 18 parks
black, gold, red, and green are the colors of the medallion.....it's really neat looking, if Kitch finds it...he will keep it!
