Nah, think I'm headed west tonight. Decent grouping of caches up by West River GCPH84, if I'm lucky I'll get all 4. One's a virtual, so at least I'll get one
These hunts have got to be proposed by the same people for all of these local hunts. Something along the lines of keep it simple enough where anybody can hunt. I'm just glad that we had OTiS out there anyway.
I can't see any reason why a CC member can't find the remaining city treasures this summer using this easy mentality. Al their making me do is jones for a real mock hunt.
those are nice photos --so let me get this right...you posted them from your laptop in your car at the park? I miss hanging out with Ares and his laptop! memories: Mears Park... ~ Damn clock!
No 3M.. the people who were out taking pictures walked past the stump, took a picture and then moved down to the micro cache that was in the park. I can only assume that they were already aware of where the Med was found and just decided to check it out while grabing the cache.
I found out when I went to the Midnight Market to grab a button. Even though one wasn't needed for this hunt I figure the least I can do is buy one to say thanks for getting me out of the house.
As you know, our program has been cut and my last day was to be this coming Friday.
As you may also know, I've been applying for jobs as they come available where I am currently, but they've been few and far between.
Last week I got a call from someone who is hiring for an Executive Assistant and invited me to apply - which I did. It was posted internally only.
Today, I got an email from her asking if I planned on sending her my resume. I sent a reply saying I had already to the job board email address as instructed. I told her I could send another to her directly. She checked with HR and sure enough it was there...they just hadn't forwarded it to her yet.
Then I got another email later setting an appointment for an interview next Tuesday.
Later this afternoon I got an email that they are extending my "last day" to the 29th. That's a two week reprieve.
I then got a call from my supervisor who had met with the woman hiring for the position. Seems the reason I got the extension is to allow for the transition to that job without the commotion of trying to not pay out my PTO. (She plans on hiring me!!! but it couldn't all happen prior to Friday.)
And it pays almost $2.00 more an hour than I'm getting now!!!
Sure hope nothing gets in the way of this working out, but I think it should all work. I'll be working with one of the VPs, the Division Directors, and the grant writer.
Then tonight, my daughter came with a belated birthday card and gift. I have tickets to see Kenny Rogers in September at the Hinckley Amphitheater!!!
And thanks for the birthday wishes. It was only a month and a half ago. Hehehehe...but that girl couldn't be on time if it was a matter of life and death.
Hehe, got the FTF on this cache tonight instead. What's better is I wrote the coordinates down wrong, had me up by the library. Basically found this on blind luck. Now if only I could save that kind for the medallion hunts......
I don't play. And I don't see it on the site but I have heard they give out a lifetime warranty on those that they even offer to contracters which just doesn't happen.
thats funny!!!
I'm outta here for a bit...
gotta coach soccer, its katie's 5th birthday, and have team photo for soccer 2.
Lesse if I can get there first...
next up, Stillwater!
