Wow that was just over a week ago.....seeing those photos again really hit me. It truely was a powerful experience.

Once I take a moment to collect myself I will offer up some commentary on some of them.

Yup, that would be it....I pointed it out to Carolyn, my walking partner, I've been selling her on caching since we met.

At this point we had walked 20 miles about another mile and a half and we were at our first nights camp.

ahhhh! the sprinklers.....so many people put them on for us, what a treat on a hot and muggy day

now that's a sight over 800 tents all in rows, after the first night I understood why they told us to find some way to mark our tents, we pur out a welcome mat and strings of lED lights on ours....

can you imagine going to the latrine at 3 AM and then trying to find your tent....ummmmmm I know it was a blue one

Most were done walking by 4 or 5....we had to find ways to fill up the evenings, anything that didn't involve standing was aceptable

I wouldn't expect anything else from you :pbpt:

heh...this was funny.

Our meal crew had the theme Mardi-Bras. Decorated bras were hanging every where and all the crew were wearing them over their shirts

This pit stop was called NAS-CURE

All the walkers signed the car, the volunteers did all kinds of funny acts for us.

her story is a sad one......there is a very good chance she will not be with us next year :frown:

I will walk again next year, for her and all the women who are battling this disease
