the background looks like they are at the vet. They at least have to give the poor puppy a sedative- I even thought of taking one today! Damn headache...better than having quills stabbed in me I suppose-geesh
Not to toss a dose of reality at cha ESD but you'll find out that most of the first day open house stop-ins are just your neighbors wanting to see all of your shit and how you live. Ali & I do it all the time.
if only i'd have had my camera with meon the way home last night. i followed a car down hamline and on to ayd mill rd with a license plate that said THX1138. of course, unless thx has traded in the van for a bmw, and has grown a beard and turned gray, it wasn't him. but it would have been a cool license plate nonetheless.
quick story...one day a kid was driving his dad's truck down my road doing about 55...tire squeeling etc....I got the tag# ...called his dad 10 mins. later....
He dad was upset...he said "that explains why he totaled his car the week before"
ok, has anyone else been watching this new show '30 Days' ? It's on FX. I have caught about 4 episodes of it. The man who made the movie 'Supersize Me' came up with the concept of this show. People change their lifestyle for 30 days. I have learned some crazy stuff and cannot believe what people will try. They replay it throughout the week I think so check it out.
Last week 2 people from New York lived off the land in Missouri with no electricity, no cell phones, no computer! put vegetable oil in their car, no flushing toilets-used their humanpoop for fertilizer to grow their own food- no meat. Had to heat the water for a shower that other people on the 'farm' only took once every 5 days!!!
I could do some of it but wow!
Another week a man lived with a gay man for 30 days. I didn't see the big deal but it seemed the man did.
Last night--- a woman decided to (binge) drink for 30 days!!!! She wanted to prove to her college drinking daughter how much of a bad idea it is. Tehe daughter was drinking 2-3 times a week and wakes up never remembering the nights. The mom got sick the very first night. uuuuuhhhh. I think I groaned through the whole show, feeling the hangovers and fatigue along with her for 30 days (in 1 hour)! In the end it never phased the 20 year old daughter but her 12 year old son was impacted heavily! He was pretty choked up over seeing his mom drunk for many days.
If you didn't see this one last night -it is a must see. Looks like its a season finally but I am sure it will be on again.
so i get in to work this morning, and read an email from the guy who's working on my computer. "nope. no hardware errors. its passed everything i can send at it." 16 or so hours after that email, i get another one. "found hardware problems". sheesh. i coulda told you that. just order a new drive, dammit.
she had 4 glasses of wine the first night and then after that it was drink after drink after drink after drink! yowza! She went to the bars and drank at home and even went to sorority college parties. I cringed. Alcoholism run in my family and it brought back a few memories.

I called the office about and hour ago and the girl told me it was found in LOWELL PARK..
How the heck did this fit the clues?? B.S.I don't have the 2nd clue..but it talked about bushes...not a newpaper rack!!!I'm more pissed about this then Phalen..this is stupid to put inside a newpaper rack!!!!
The only way someone found it in or near the newspaper box is a fluke -they were probly buying a paper!
Nick called me with the clue earlier and I was gonna come on and post it but I have been way too busy :frown: ...unfortunately my life has been swamped with stuff lately and I personally couldn't get out there til tomorrow. I had just asked Nick too if it had said in either clue if it was IN a park cause it wasn't last year. I couldn't understand Nick well, the line was fuzzy so I had to make up the blah blahs where I couldn't understand but know there was more to the clue...
Clue #2 was something like this:
A 1 and a 2 will put you close
but nothing in the center
find a shrub thats near
'blah blah blah' tormentor
If your clever 'blah blah blah'
to waste time in your search
just turn to see
'blah blah' the steeple of the church
we both thought it may be between 1st and 2nd st, near a bush and you can see a church if you turn around.
I can't access this thread..but I know a photo is here that I want to see...
Bull Terrior and Porkupine tangle...I think I know who won!!!!
... and don't forget the poor porcupine! He's probably naked now! hahaha
I just knew it.
That's why I tried to delete it before you got me in trouble with Jake.
He hates me enough as it is.
I was actually looking for the picture of Jake in his "NO THX" shirt when I stumbled upon that.
Ex-Vulcan king sentenced to probation for groping
sucky read...hard to follow....
It says to read it with kids as they can figure out clues that adults would have a hard time....but well..my daughter thinks she sees everything....
oh...and did I say the book sucks to read...
then we all get 2gethor and discuss it over a beer.
