As far as what will happen during the hunt, I suspect by then this will be old news.

maybe. but like has been pointed out. there's still 6 months between now and then. what about events in those 6 months? i think tmk not talking about this until "later" is a bad idea for other events that go on in the meantime. there's a lot of us that end up getting together on a monthly basis, or more.

For right now, I think it's best to let it rest for a few days. There's still an investigation that is just starting with regards to the threatening notes and messages that Elissa and I have been receiving. The further into the investigation, the more we should know on who exactly is involved and how people are involved. Last night was fairly quiet on our end, but there were some developments still which were interesting. Elissa and I aren't likely to be at any cooler events in the next few weeks because our next few weekends are booked and our weeks are booked because of personal errands we have to do.

you never mentioned that you and elissa were threatened in any of the notes and messages. nick threatened by shaggy, yes, but not you guys. that paints a totally different story.

I stated that Elissa and I had received the threatening notes. Not that we had specifically been harassed in them. There were threats in various messages though from Shaggy that stalking behavior was being performed, that I and her were being followed. There were threats that it would continue if she did not contact Nick. There were also threats that something of Nick's would be taken and placed in our possession to make it look like we were directly involved with it. Realistically, we haven't tried to get into too much detail as far as what has gone on. There is a file that is pretty thick with printed out messages/emails/letters from Nick, Shaggy, Exodus, Skizzo, Beckster. If you guys really want to know what we've had to deal with, you can look at those. I have a log of 58 calls from Nick since basically July 18th. I have about 28 messages saved on my voicemail that can be listened to. There is all that specific information. While there may not have been a lot of specific threats against us directly of harm or violence, both of us have felt threatened indirectly from all this.

FYI: I gave Ian host access to his Geocache folder.

Coco is going crazy over Nick's post in the "what irritates you" thread. She wants to post something in response to it, but I'm hoping she doesn't. I wanted to give the facts about some of the things that Nick said in that post. The legal papers that Nick is talking about is the HRO served against him, and that was obtained based solely off the number of calls made to Elissa, emails sent to her, and visits to her house, all of which can be proven through witness accounts or technical means. We talked with the police and the courts about all of this stuff involving Shaggy & Nick, but the HRO was based off of things that could be proven to be Nick. With regards to the "lies told to my family" part, the only family member that has been talked to directly in the last few months is Nick's mother. The day that Nick was served the papers, Shaggy egrammed Elissa saying that he heard that Nick had either offed himself or was going to. Elissa passed this along to the police as she was told to. They did a wellness check, did not find him there. They asked Elissa if she knew any family members, she knew of Nick's mom. The police contacted Nick's mom on his behalf, because of the threats. Later that day, Nick's mom called Elissa at her work, on her own accord, to talk with Elissa to find out what had been going on. Elissa told her the situation and what lead up to this. If anything, Nick was the one lying regarding his family. He was calling me repeatedly saying that he had a tv from his mom to give to Elissa, and that his mom was wanting to know what to do with it. Nick's mom said that Nick didn't have the tv to give away and Nick hadn't asked about it anytime recently. Nick's mom was involved a few months ago, took him to dinner and had a talk with him about stopping trying to contact Elissa. Nick's mother told Elissa that she felt that Elissa had done the right thing in going to the cops and getting the restraining order. As to the getting turned down from jobs because of the order, that's not something that has to be reported to jobs for applications. If Nick were arrested for a third time for violating the order, then it would be a felony and he would have to report that. Otherwise it is not a reportable item to employers.

As an aside, I won't do anything about Nick's post because of how I'm involved. I have talked with Elissa, and she's going to have it copied and sent to her case worker to see if violates the no contact order via third person. Regardless, I'm disturbed by the post. There are plenty of people who know that there are problems between Nick and Elissa. His post is basically blaming all his problems and woes on Elissa and myself. I feel that is wrong. He was given plenty of opportunities to stop his behavior, to leave her and us alone. We told him numerous times to stop contacting us, yet he persisted. I'm not even including the Shaggy/Exodus aspect of this. Elissa had to change her phone number because of the calls that she was getting. We had to take legal action. That's not our fault, that's not Shaggy's fault. It is based off of things that Nick did, and him solely. Now he is out there basically saying that we're the ones that have done this to him, making it where he can't get a job, where he has been supposedly kicked out of his house. I say supposedly because in dealing with all this, I find it very hard to believe what Nick says. But the matter of the fact is beyond all those lies, there stands the extreme amount of calls and emails, the fact that Elissa had to block his emails and change her phone number because of all this. We've been trying to take the high road on all of this, not responding in public. We've tried to keep this behind closed doors. I just don't feel that it's right that he can insinuate the things that he is, and affect the judgment of innocent people.

but since it doesn't name names....I think its best just to leave it as stated...

My thoughts on it was just to let the issue die...otherwise he would say what was wrong with the post and people would reread the post and figure out that the stuff was directed at coco and not somebody else........

as like most long post...I normally just skim...i'm sure i'm not alone

I thought about responding to it, but thought maybe he just wanted the attention, and didn't want to do that if that's what he's fishing for.

Thats good to hear. I would welcome a clearing of my name. The POLICE would have no reason to come after me or my name. Nick might have some problems though.
