But after persistent problems with her digital recording system forced her to make dozens of calls to the cable company in July, her August bill came with a change really worth complaining about: In place of her name were the words “Bitch Dog.”
Yep, it's possible if you have access to change customer account info.
There is no real way to track who makes changes to customer info. If you do something to the account like cancel service or add boxes it notes who you are. But adjusting the name on an account leaves no trace.
While sometimes customers can be abusive, obviously this was uncalled for. You have to figure that eventualy this piece of shit rep will get caught or handled at some point.
wow. I was supposed to be here for a guy on Tuesday cause we dont get channels 8-11. I forgot and wasnt home and I had 2 messages on my machine from comcast. Both calls they sucked up and acted like it was their fault -I was suprised.
I am also supposed to get 5 months FREE of package#2, beginning august 24th?, cause I am one of the people that would get screwed on the deletion of package #3. I have pack 1 and 3 right now.
SOmetimes they do well. Othertimes they are having a bad day. Like anywhere I guess.
I try to keep the reps that get info from me over filled with info to give customers. The more informed you are the better you can do at fixing problems.
Hey OTiS - How much storage does my HD 2 tuner DVR have? I was at Best Buy last night looking at DVR's with hard drives and couldn't believe that they were still very expensive. I'm still thinking that the $10 I send you guys each month is way worth it compared to the $699 they're asking. I'm sure that prices will be down 5 1/2 years from now anyway.
The good news is that the subscription television industry is changing. Our choices have been limited to cable and satellite only thus far. But there is a new player in town called IPTV or Internet Protocol TV. The programs come from the telephone company through your phone line, and itÂ’s starting first in Texas. Apparently, the picture is crystal clear and prices should be competitive.
I like the idea of only paying for shows I'm interested in watching... and if they could kill the commercials, all the better. Kinda like buying movies, but being able to just watch them at home.
Surprised marketing doesn't like it better, it's a simple idea, good shows stay on the air longer, bad shows obviously are done away with because they can't sell to enough people.
