My point is...I created a folder here. I have paid in advance for hosting a folder. I have not asked for any hosting privledges for any folder as of this time. I really don't want to host a folder in here. I need to know if someone else wants to host the folder and have me pay for it. Are all these folders in here already paid for? If they are, then I can set up another folder (out side of the cooler). Otherwise I am happy to fund the one I created. I just don't want someone paying for a folder twice.
IMHO...we will have tons of folders....we just need to be careful as MARK/TIM have been cooler with us. I'm sure your donation 3-M will get eaten up at some point...
Another concern is the folders that were created in my folder. Whos responsible for those? I just hope thing are worked out before the "pay to post/host" thing goes into effect. I'd hate to have a bunch of folders dissapear without warning.
That's my #1 issue with why I don't play ball golf. It's just sad. But I guess they gotta get you when they can.
There is the one main CCRC folder right now with 4 sub-folders (dropping the test folder) and 1 sub-sub folder for geocaching (changing the Camo Crew folder to a discussion instead)
I have my little Welcome Home thread that will probably go away unless Ian wants it for a totally separate geo-folder.
I don't know if there are any hidden folders within our walls. I would assume that they would only be discussions anyway.
So I guess the question people are continuing to bring up is if our site, as it is right now, will cost $30/yr or $180/yr. Not that having only 5 folder within a main folder is abuse, I can totally see how it's open to it.
I'm curious of what Mark and Tim will come up with to organize this.
I don't know if I totally agree with that. Although all the separate CC member discussions could have their one main folder instead of two, it's still nice to have a place to go where you can post a comment that's directly related to that persons discussion.
Kinda like you or I having our own thread for us and blab about Disc Golfing all day without filling up posts in the main discussion thread.
I know I like to know right where to go if I want to tell a certain someone that they're neat.

I'd be willing to pay for a folder that holds separate discussion threads for whomever wanted their own place.

This is pretty much what I'm trying to do. I have already paid for a folder. I just need to let Mark know what folder and who will host it. I'm hoping to pay for the one I created. "Cooler Head Thraeds" and let you guys host it. I realize that it gets a bit murcky and complicated. I know that THX will want some input here also. He mentioned before about possibly just linking to other folders. I just hope things are being worked on. Thanks for your input CM.
I have a computer problem. We bought a new Dell with Win XP. I have it set up to use with our router and 2 other computers (win 98 and winme). When I click on network places it shows the other computers shared folders on the network. When I try to connect it says that I may not have permission to access the network folder and to see the network administrator. Thats me (I guess). It then says that the network path was not found. I have connected to these folders before, but most of the time it won't let me. Last night after trying several times it finnally worked. Now it won't. Anybody know???
Right now I pay $240 ($20 a month), so we should be covered just by me alone.
I think in the future we're going to want to clean house, but I don't know exactly how.
The thing with Tim and Mark is, I've found them more than happy to work with us on everything. So I'm not worried. I don't think they'd just start yanking thread and folders. They'd come to us first and tell us what's up.

Welcome to the Saint Paul Jaycees Tunnel of Terror. We would like you to know we will not be open to the public for the 2005 Halloween season. We are working with the City of Saint Paul and the Saint Paul Fire Department this year in an effort to re-evaluate our current location and consider if it makes sense to fund some significant renovations so we can continue operating as we have been for the past 20-plus years in our current location.
I wonder if they'd allow someone to rent it out on Halloween....
they do that for the coliseum, and the grandstand building and numerous other buildings out there all year long.... so whats one night for a haunted house?
also... anyone that goes... make sure you grab your "free stuff" guide from one of the info booths.... more post-it notes and rulers than you can handle!!
Yep, they got sued for sexual harassment of their waitresses. They lost the case so they declared bankruptcy and closed. It happened shortly after we were there.
Chang O'Hara's Bistro filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy protection Friday, the Star Tribune reported.
The St. Paul restaurant and bar had lost two separate sexual harassment lawsuits filed by former employees earlier this year. The suits alleged that the bar manager made obscene comments and inappropriately touched two female employees.
Both juries ruled that the plaintiffs were sexually harassed, and that Chang O'Hara's management acted with "malice or reckless indifference" to the plaintiffs' rights, the paper reported.
The plaintiffs were awarded a total of $146,500.
Thomas Flynn, attorney for Chang O'Hara's owner Leo Gadbois, told the Star Tribune that the outcome of the lawsuits was the main reason for the bankruptcy filing.
In the filing, the restaurant claimed assets of less than $50,000 and debts of $100,001 to $500,000.
Anybody see the stoned dude on Price Is Right that keeps bidding $420 for everything? It's way funny. The last lady bid $421 and he about died because she won. :worried:
I don't think a stoner would ever be picked. This guy had a fun personality. And they pick from watching people in line and how they act. At least that's how they did it years ago when we were down there. It was fun watching many people in the audience laughing their asses off as he made his bid each time. He would go through the whole "what did she bid Bob?...and him?.... OK I'll bid $420". HAHA! On his first bid he said "I've waited my whole life to make this bid Bob....$420". And that was on a $2500 item! :goofy:
