Their geocaching name is HNTS2MCH. (hunts too much) Ok Ijust told them about this activity yesterday (Sat) morning, I gave them coordinates, they went and found it and BAM they're hooked. So they got registered and found four more yesterday, bought stuff to make a cache of their own, and found 4/7 today. I created monsters.

Are you King Boreas or is that someone else on this site? I do remember a KB on the Pioneer Press message board.

That many finds and they've only been at it a couple days? They might be more hooked than I am.

I suppose I've had my share of stick pokes to the eye in the woods. Hmm, maybe safety goggles should be reccomended while caching.

Yeah, like I said they're addicted. They both are avid hunters,(killing critters that is) and are comfortable with GPS since they use it for hunting and fishing. So this time of year when there is nothing to hunt, geocaching makes a great substitute. My sister even talked some her co-workers to go with her during their lunch break!!! She even made up a 3-ring binder of finds and future finds. She is already plotting for when she goes to New Mexico to visit my other sister!

that won't last long...she will be going paperless in no time...or upgrading to a geocaching gps.

I didn't think we were RB since it'll be pay-to-post by then.

Well here's the first 5 clues. I glanced at them for 2 minutes and figure it's at GrOveLanD. I can't make it out until tomorrow so give me props if you find it early.

Good Luck!

You just want to hunt while getting in a round. If it is NV it's probably going to be in those woods by the parking lot since you won't be in the path of any discs, balls or bikes then. Plus it would go all 15 clues even if they told you it was right there anyway. Any particular noodle put you there?

Oh crap! I took off early to find where Groveland was only to find out that the map on their website is wrong and it turns out that it's the same park I looked in for a week straight during their first hunt 3 years ago. Damn! How could I forget that? I never searched longer and harder than any hunt I've ever done in one single park and I forget the damn name. Sheesh!

I gotta see what tomorrow brings. I'll call ya with the clues Kitch to see what you think. We gotta take this home as I feel it's the hardest one out of all the local hunts.

I object to the change, I think we should archive the old thread in huge bold letters and have it say "TIM ROCKS". Don't you all think that's a good idea?
